so how the hell was Greenland ice free when the Vikings were there? All the SUV's they drove to rape and pillage?
You've looked up the "science" created by people who profit from it, and rejected the science and observation from over a thousand years of data collection. Real science does not create political policy directly.
the "science" you religiously refer to also recently preached that the amount of carbon in the atmosphere necessary to eliminate all high-order life was much less than released by recent European volcanoes. A few decades of continuing pollution, we were warned, if we didn't change our sinful ways. Recent geological activity released more carbon, sulfur, and other nastiness in the space of a few months than humanity could produce in those few decades the Algoreans "scientifically" warned us about.
Science, as opposed to faith, is and must be testable and repeatable or the theory is questionable or invalid. The global warming "science" you refer to has failed experimentally over the decades and fails to take into account observational data that doesn't match it's predetermined conclusion. Ergo, it's a faith. Strapping "science" to the name (Christian Scientists, Scientology?) doesn't change the reality of the faith.
Kumbaya, Gaia's comin! Look busy!
Actually I have looked up the science behind CO2 realted Climate Change - and I found it to be valid. I have also watched Greenland slowly turn green with huge lakes appearing where once there was ice. I have visited once crowded ski resports in the European Alps that are now 15 miles away from the glacier and I have watched nations like the Nederlands working frantically to shore up their defenses against the rising sea.
Peak oil - you had better believe it.
What you and other climate change deniers dont seem to understand is that responding to climate change is already creating substantial numbers of new jobs. Its a bit like watching type writer ribbon manufacturers complaing about shrinking markets - instead of just making ink jet cartridges.
Another hipster contrarianist trying to be deliberately offensive (or as SF says for the PC causes: cool) by following the anti-religion religion. Probably showed up on his (her?) fixie after draining a few watered down PBR's. Our sun won't explode, it's too small. Best theory is we get a red giant that cools to a boring burnt out husk.
you can't cut 20% of your data/timeline and then say it supports your theory. If there is a 'decline' and that decline has continued unabated or even increased from the beginning of your sample to the present, but your theory of "christians are to blame" hasn't been in charge for that last 20% then your original supposition needs reevaluation.
If I say that eating tomatoes is the only reason my cholesterol drops over five years but I stopped eating tomatoes and started on spinach a year ago and still my cholesterol droped at the same or perhaps a higher rate during that year, I cannot with any scientific validity say that only tomatoes reduce cholesterol.
Not to mention that, well, an Administration is an unholy mishmash of a President and a bunch of f*ckups we call Congress. Which sadly has been staunchly "liberal" (f'n RINOS too) for most of that period. Another minor nitpick: the GOP and Conservatives may be two data tables that are inner joined (too much SQL!) or intersect, they are NOT one and the same. Blame the GOP accurately for your "bible belt takeover" hypothesis but avoid the popular media attack that lumps conservatives into the mix or your hypothesis becomes less accurate and much more tenuous.
Sure, but you spoke in specific time period of reference. 8 of those 10 years were under the Christian crackpot.

Honestly I blame Christians for sending this country down the toilet because the Liberals are SUPPOSED to be crackpots. That's why they're liberal. Conservatives are supposed to be the voice of reason. When the Bible Belt took over the GOP, the voice of reason adopted a cuckoo agenda that undermined their ability to be reasonable.
