I have learned some valuable things from this thread. I have learned what kind of thought processes (if that is accurately what they can be called) people use to justify complete asshat behavior.

Some people do things that are wrong (crash on the twisties), therefore it is okay for me to do things that are wrong (block freeways for my pleasure). People who criticize that behavior can be SMEARED as being members of a group that does things wrong (crash on the twisties) - even though there is no proof whatsoever that they are part of that group. Don't let things like facts and logic stand in the way of such rationalizations. Hurl "poor me" insults at anyone who makes a valid argument about it. Set up ad hominem attacks and bring the level of discourse down to the level of shit-throwing monkeys.

So I am grateful for this thread. Now I know a little more about the mentality of the fucking shitheads that think it is okay to make rolling roadblocks on the freeways.

Personally, I wouldn't do anything except key up the radio and report the location.

However, here in good old, out in the valley-hick'sville Modesto, when the Red and White bunch comes to town and starts the old blocking trick at the traffic lights the cops rain out of the sky and put an end to that crap.

I think the run of the mill citizen thinks that when one is riding with a group of bikes that are blocking traffic intentionaly then one IS an outlaw biker even if the bikes are not harleys and the riders aren't wearing winged skulls on levi vests. (of course I don't think I've seen a levi vest on a 3 patcher for quite some time..)

I think that one of the reasons we should be concerned about such actions is that the public will want everyone taken off the road that is on two wheels. Look what has happened to the street racer car guys. Just having a fart can will get you stopped and inspected in Stockton. Probally impounded too if you're not careful.

I've seen Harley and sportbike rallies, with hundreds of riders slowing down traffic, etc., yet no problems with a bunch of 9-11 calls.

Ok, I guess your mind is just twisted to find racism where there is most likely nothing there. I'm not exactly sure how you determined the race of the 911 callers, oh wait, yeah that was all in your mind.
In my mind, none of the people that called 911 were particularly calling for there own safety. For most people calling, it's pretty likely it was the first time they witnessed 60mph wheelies down the freeway. They probably didn't know that the odds of them pulling it off with out dying and leaving blood stains all down the freeway were actually quite high. I say they called because they were 'afraid' to witness what they thought was a sure bet at ensuing death and carnage.

Police have arrested a man in connection with a shooting last month on the Dallas North Tollway involving the driver of a jaguar and a group of bikers.

Steve Keith Williford, 34, was out on bond Thursday afternoon after being arrested Wednesday morning and charged with aggravated assault for his role in the shooting.

Video released by the North Texas Tollway Authority shows that just before the incident on June 10, the bikers were riding in a large group, doing wheelies and blocking all three southbound lanes.
The driver of the car, John Williams, said that he accidentally hit one of the bikers while trying to pass and said that is when they attacked "like a swarm of bees."

He said some of the bikers kicked his car, leaving deep dents and knocking off the two side view mirrors, and that someone also shot at his vehicle, leaving it riddled with bullets.

On the day of the incident, Williams drove to a police station where some of the bikers had also showed up. They said that Williams had left the scene of an accident.

Williams said he wasn't able to identify any of the bikers because his windows were shot out and his mirrors were kicked off.


FOX 4 obtained the 911 call made by Williams while his car was being attacked.

In the call, he can be heard telling 911 operators that a group of men on motorcycles was shooting at his gold Jaguar.
