This guy does nothing to help the RR with his post. Besides sounding illiterate, apparently, the RR does not see how truly egocentric and selfish their freeway bullshit is for the rest of us.

I have been blocked by these jerks on 880. The leads and sweeps did NOT do their job properly and I was truly terrified I was going to run over a stunna that might go down.

No one's talking shit to you RR. Wake up and smell your exhaust fumes. We all ride the same roads and we have to eat cop doo-doo for the selfish junk you pull.

Major props goes out to redbull. The area was really quite with the guy getting arrested and everyone watching. All of a sudden redbull drove in their party tank thing with music blasting and showing their cans. What a way to liven the mood

I would really like RR to get "the problem" Not fight with them.

In addition - does anyone have PROOF about RR members and the theft? Because I don't think calling their members theives helps, if it's not true.

Edit - I know about the other post at SBR. So, I'm not sure where that leaves them.

Well I can personally tell you that he did not say that. We had a meeting on Monday and this thread was discussed. Seeing as to how the original post was directed at one of the SoCal chapters he wasn't really that concerned. In fact he was the one defending many of the BARF members, and saying to just let it go. Once again you have someone on here trying to wage a PR war from the sidelines. If anyone here wants to meet our Prez to discuss things, he isn't hard to find, and he isn't a violent man.
As for the theft. I haven't heard anything about it, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. But as it was previously stated, you can't lump everyone together. Besides, my last bike was stolen by a rich kid home for the summer from UC Davis.

The thing you fail to realize is that cagers and dorks like me can't tell if its the Socal RR holding up traffic or the Norcal RR doing it all people see is the RR vest. Frankly, does it really matter? You are part of the Rough Ryders and like to project a certain image. Don't be surprised when people make generalizations based on the image you project. Instead of just letting what people say go, why don't you guys listen and maybe just maybe see someone elses point of view.

I am not saying he did not write that but sense the bulk of us don't read the forum we communicate face to face. So like I said, he defended a lot of BARF members in the meeting. As for the negative image, people have always had something negative to say about all riders. We go to fast, we stunt, we lane split to close to their cars. As for the R, and the generalizations, we should know better than that. I say WE meaning EVERYONE. It is those same generalizations that breed negative stereotypes, discrimination and just plain hatred. If anyone has seen the face of racism, you know what I'm talking about. As for getting them to listen to what others are saying and maybe do something to change the image. You are preaching to the choir, I AM the Medic. But I gotta admit, like some of you on here. I enjoy pissing people off from time to time. And believe me I do that with or without the vest.
Stolen bike thread. I read it, and it tells me nothing. You want to prove something to me. Get me something from the police department. Just because somebody posts it doesn't make it so. I am not saying it didn't happen, hell it probably did. But I need more than that to believe it.
About the "Not a violent man" comment. That was directed at the people who like to lump us in with gang members and thugs, cause like I said. We aren't all a bunch of delinquents.

You have to understand this. All he is getting from everyone is that BARF members are talking shit. Some of the other clubs and folks on the street are basically doing what the same thing that folks on here have done. Simplify the truth. Before I posted anything I read all 18 pages of this thread. And a lot of what was said was totally different than what had reached my ears via word of mouth. I am not on here to try and condone shutting down a free-way or any major road for a stunt show, I drove an Ambulance for some time. What I am trying to say is just watch how you come at people. A lot of members on here want to take the attitude that they are more respectable riders because they don't do the crazy/insulting things we do in large numbers. If you are that much more mature, why is there so much shit talk? Did any of you think to say something to a RR about how what we do has a negative impact on the rest of riders? Has any of you said anything to one of us? If you have and your complaints fell on deaf ears, maybe you should try someone else, instead of conspiring to make enemies.

I don't hate rich kids because one of them stole my bike, so don't hate me because I am beautiful. ha :)

And I do hate rich kids...and they didn't even steal my bike.
