Skyrim

Played long enough to finish the Golden Claw quest, except I went the wrong way out of the cave and didn't go back to the first town.

When you guys sell stuff -- I picked up a few ancient Nord war axes and swords, etc -- do different people in towns offer you different amounts of $ for them?

Im not sure if they do or not. I hate when they run out of money and have you to find some one else to buy my crap lol

I agree with you there, I too loathe it when shop keepers run out of money. Especially in Whiterun, isn't this place to be a central location and mercantile hub? Scrubs LOL!

Only 6a more hours till im off work. I want to get back to the thieves guild quest and looking for the brotherhood guild. I did have some one deliver me a note with a black hand on it. All it said was we know what you did.
I looted a dead body in a city after a dragon attack. Then robbed their house of everything not bolted down. Inly for said dead person to send thugs after me and out a contract on my head lol.

That reminds me, I have to clean out my house in Whiterun... I have so much crap in those chests...

So last night instead of starting up an Orc Warrior, I decided to start developing my Nord Mage into a Battle Mage type of character. I put on heavy armor, equipped a 1-handed weapon (Elven Mace) and was very pleased with the results. In fact, Lydia died and I didn't really care - I looted all her stuff and moved on. :rofl

I've been rocking a 1 handed sword and then a spell in my other hand so I can heal myself or throw fireballs.

love the game. went with Nord which is pretty uncommon for me.:nerd

Is anyone else finding real life boring and pointless in comparison:laughing

No, your sell price is fixed based on your Speech/Haggle skills. Although you can pick up that perk that lets you sell for 10% more with the opposite sex.

I'm annoyed with the merchants running out of money too, I think I'm going to get that Speech perk that lets you sell any merchandise to any merchant. I've got a lot of expensive potions that will tap out a merchant in a couple of sells, and I've only been to two Holds so far.

I put this on my Facebook status yesterday:

Attention family members and friends. This takes some courage to say this, but I'm coming clean. I am suffering from a disease called Skyrimitis. Symptoms include, but is not limited to, anti-social behavior, erratic moods, irritability at work, unexplained absences, and the inability to complete basic life tasks such as eating and sleeping.

With the upcoming holidays, you may feel the need to be closer to your family members and friends. Be warned that any attempts to contact family members or friends suffering from Skyrimitis may be met with indifference or hostility. You may require high speech skills to persuade or intimidate the afflicted family members and friends into attending holiday get-togethers and parties. Bribery may or may not work in this instance. Motivating such individuals with the promise of sexual intimacy may be possible, but is best achieved by dressing up as a sexy wood elf.

The best course of action to take if someone you know is suffering from Skyrimitis is to leave them alone. It is believed that this disease eventually runs it's course and cures itself, possibly coinciding with the release date of Grand Theft Auto V. Until such time, efforts on your part to make contact with a Skyrimitis-afflicted person may further hurt your feelings. Just remember that it's not personal.

Show them that you care by leaving gifts of nourishment such as hot soup, cold beer, and perhaps pizza on their doorstep. Knock softly, then leave. Skyrimitis is contagious, do not make phsyical contact with the afflicted. Just wait for the disease to pass it's course. They are still your family members and friends.

I just unlocked the Scale/Plate Armor perk in Smithing. Scale armor has better rating than Elvish armor but doesn't look as cool.

what level smithing do you need? I just started building my smithing last night. I'm I think 46 right now.

It'll grow on you, I think it's actually my favorite. Makes you look like some kind of hunter/ranger.

Where the fuck do you mine? On the help menu it say mine in caves. Only thing I run into are sabretooth cats that fuck me and Ungerthen(sp? my comp). Once I take them down I raise dead, then BAM! 2 companions! :thumbup

:equip shield
Fight mudcrabs /block
Level up blocking :laughing

Oh and if raise dead and shield bash 'em... they turn against you :teeth

LAstly was fighting sabretooth then I set him on fire. The
Fucker jumped into the river and put out my fire!!

I 3< SKYRIM

I've had guys I set on fire run to the river also. Pretty funny. I normally sneak around mines and wipe out what ever guys are holed up and then mine away. There is a nice gold mine near markarth. Plenty of gold to make rings to sell. I am still trying to find a place to mine soul gems.

Only been into one mine so far, immediately north of Whiterun.

I don't think it's possible to mine soul gems. I think that's strictly something you buy from the shops/mages.

I know there is one refillable soul gem in the game. I know oblivion had 2 I think. I just need to find where to get the refillable one. it sucks going from city to city and not finding many petty soul gems to buy.

It's part of the Azura's star quest. I got it in my Misc quest but the start point is way the hell up north and I haven't got around to it yet. Not much point to it anyway because you can still only have one soul at a time. Kill, enchant, kill... it's a nice supplement but I don't think it can replace the ordinary soul gems in terms of convenience.

if your going up north head to the western north area. there is a stone called the lover stone. It helps raise all skills 15% faster.
