Skyrim

The up and down movement on the mouse is slow compared to left right. I dont see an axis specific adjustment. Anyone have a fix?

"Turn up the sensitivity of my mouse" and "Get used to it" have been my main fixes so far :p

Been excitedly waiting for Skyrim since finishing Oblivion!!! Am on vacation though and am wishing I was shameless geek enough to bring my PS3 to Mexico with me :laughing Had been playing Dead Island for the past few weeks though and man I keep feeling like I need to pick up a shock modded machete just in case...must be all the palm trees

Yeah 360 looks better.
Weird cause oblivion looked a lot better on ps3.

It looks way better on my PC though :p

I am stuck on a quest. I think i am going to have to level up and come back to this later. I am getting my ass handed to me left and right no matter what I try I keep getting killed. I'm level 11 right now.

Finally got to put a few hours in today. Went with the Bosmer archer route. Loving the archery already in the game, and you guys are right about them reducing the arc. The arrow trajectories are much flatter now and I'm getting headshots where I traditionally went for chest.

Anybody find a safe place to store gear so far? Tired of lugging these heavy dragon bones around.

Only safe place, per the manual, is inside a storage unit you own, aka a house.

Though I've been told the dragon remains don't ever go away, so maybe you can store them there? Probably safe, as it won't get reset like (for example) the barrels around towns holding food :dunno

About 10 hours in, not a single crash on the XBOX so far. Game's running smooth and stable.

Just killed my second dragon at Level 9. As if that wasn't bad enough, a damn sabre cat attacked me while I was fighting the dragon. Luckily I had that command animal power that Bosmers have, ended up zapping the sabre cat, and it turned and fought the dragon. I was at the dragon's rear slashing away while the cat was in front. Cat died just before I killed the dragon. Lucky!

Oh yea, don't fuck with the giants. I took a potshot at a giant from a ways back. Bastard charged after me and killed me with one blow, launching my sorry corpse like 500 feet into the sky.

Giants are no joke. I've killed 2 but only because I was tucked away where they can get me and I just shot arrow after arrow. So far I have found 2 quests I can't do. The bosses are just to hard. The more recent one Had the boss being healed and he had some shout thing that destroyed any weapon in your hand. I just hit level 15. Sneak with archer is a good combo. Once you get high enough you can get the 3x damage perk with arrow sneak attacks. So far I have had 2 of my hired help get killed on me. Now I have a dog helping me out and so far hes doing better then both people I hired to help.
