Okay, Oddly enough the thing I am finding most fascinating and challenging about this game is trying to stay out of the politics! :laughing and that was the LAST thing I though I would be concerned about going into this thing...

I've always been a kill everyone let God sort them out kind of adventure gamer, but this world and it's factions just slowly kind of suck you in... I think it must be because your "life" in it takes so long to develop that eventually, even the most jaded find themselves sympathizing with one of the "sides"

I was in the middle of the questline in Markarth, and was investigating the death of a girl in the marketplace and the whole time previous I was killing Forsworn with glee, wherever I found them on the road or in the wildnerness of the reach...

Then I get thrown in prison and hear the "other" side and now I want to kill all Nords and fight for the Forsworn! :laughing I swear, those Nords are supremacist bastards the lot of them! and in the beginning I kind of admired them :nchantr

What makes it toughest is that when I run into one of those random skirmishes in the middle of the wilds I find myself moving my arrow point from one person to the next and I can't figure out who to shoot! :laughing

I guess it's time to pick a side :)

I escaped from prison with them. Then killed the last guy before he made it out the door, but after his comrades had left. So I got the armor he gives you + the ring from the dude outside. Had to kill the dude's comrades when I finally did go outside though. And now I can't go back to Markarth cause the game is bugged. Did another quest where you have to kill a couple guards and if you kill the last witness, your bounty is removed. However, 1 guard outside heard the noise and came in, and even though I killed him too it didn't remove the last witness killed thing so I still have a 1000 bounty there. Tried to surrender to the guards, but they won't take me to prison because I already escaped from there....so every time I go near the area they all try to kill me on sight.

That sucks! I like Markarth, and supposedly there is a really nice house you can buy there too! It would be sad if it was impossible for you to get it because you were KOS there forever...

I made it out of prison and just so as to not spoil it I won't say what happened, but I can still go to the city, which is nice, I'm saving up the 8k I need to buy the real estate there as Breeze Home in Whiterun is a dump! :laughing

This game is massive. I haven't even tried to fulfill any objectives yet, just like wandering around finding caves and killing bears and chopping wood and stuff.

Weird bug - yeah, just starting...

So I got the Dragonstone, went out to kill the dragon, got through the front gate, came back in because I got lost, the guards went nuts and accused me of a crime (???), tried to kill me, wouldn't take a surrender. Had to run to the Jarl's, where I could surrender and offer 160 gold (what, I stole a sweetroll??), and the game continued without a hitch, besides losing a bunch of time. Back on track, but jeeezzz... :rolleyes

And yeah, the game is teh awesome. :thumbup

Skyrim nexus has some nice mods to really enhance the environments... Lush grass, retexturings of all the surfaces in high res, Longer loading time but once you're in it runs just as fast and looks AMAZING!

Oh, yeah, this is barf so I have to mention they also have the naked woman mod that ditches the leather bra and panties and retextures the skin and eyes to look more like this!

(my one handed skill just increased)

Oh, Sorry, I forgot to mention this is PC version only...

Dicovered Bthardamz dwemer ruins guarded by Afflicted, weeds blocking one entrance and another entrance requires a key. Apparently this a big quest. Do want! How do I start it?

I've hacked my Fallout and FO:NV games from stuff from the Nexus sites that they're almost totally unrecognizable.

As soon as I have a PC that can run Skyrim I'll end up doing the same.

I'm bummed they got rid of the "collector cards" LOL

I got bored of skyrim and I am playing witcher 2, I suggest you guys give this game a try. It is sweet!!!

wtf.

I lost Lydia.

I was in Markarth and started the escape from cithrn mine quest, and when I got out of jail and stuff Lydia is nowehre to be found.

Went back to Whiterun, not at Breezehome, not in Dragonsreach.

WTF

LOL!

That's not as bad as me! I told Lydia to wait somewhere and then got caught up in the Dragon quest and now I can't remember where the hell I told her to wait! :laughing

I don;t think they default to a time out and then go somewhere either, I think they just stay where you tell them too, forever! :(

Oh well, There goes that Ebony Longsword I gave her :( Maybe in a few months I'll be walking along and find her skeleton and then go "Oh Yeah! NOW I remember!" :laughing

I got that female badass in the tavern/inn in Whiterun to be a companion. First fight she's in, she gets capped. :rolleyes

So with the house in Whiterun, I get Lydia as my companion. Guess what, she's staying home. Pity we can't yank their shoes & get them pregnant... "Yo, Lydia, gemme a sammich & beer!!!" :rofl

I think I'm good now....was a little bit south from Markarth doing part of Mehrune's Razor quest or whatever it's called and this dude named "Bounty Hunter" runs up to me and says I've got quite the outstanding bounty, and for some gold plus his commission he'll talk to the Jarl and make it all go away. Check my bags...104k gold...how much ya want dude? 1200? DONE. Haven't tried to go back yet though...so we'll see if he was just ripping me off or actually took care of it. No idea how you'd get the bounty hunter to pop up intentionally though for anyone else who's glitched. If you ARE having that problem I can post a screenshot of exactly where the dude ran into me.

Actually she gets tired of waiting around. I left her at white run to explore by myself. Said she got tired of waiting and left. Found her wandering in white run and hired her back. Not sure where she'll go if you tell to wait out in Skyrim.
