there's apparently some trout sometimes in Stony Creek, too, below North Fork campground heading toward Stonyford, I guess. there's kind of a big dam for the irrigation canal that looks fishy. :ride

we live sorta close to each other, so getting him the money is easy.

Silver Nissan pickup, old green 2 stroke bike, old yellowish tent.

also While we are there Scotty is going take the opportunity to start to train for the Steam Donkey Endro race at Stony in Nov. Anyone else doing this madness???

For those of you don't have a GPS Avenza maps is a free app you can download and use as a GPS on your iPhone.
The maps show all of the trails and trail numbers. The Stonyford Motor Vehicle Opportunity Guide Map has the trail difficulty ratings too.
Here is a list of the maps for the Stonyford area.

thanks for the map names! I always have trouble finding the right maps in Avenza. The screenshot was perfect!
 
Looks like Bart and I will be there Friday am to Saturday, trying to get a ride in each day, early start Saturday. I have to leave Saturday afternoon.

I went to go see if the bike still works..not really, pilot jet was gummed/green, ran like crap. All fixed now. Been too long since I have been on a dirt bike.

I'll pay Eric B in Stony.

I just want to extend my greatest thanks to Butch for picking this weekend...how the hell he knew we'd get the first rain of the season on the last day of the event I have no idea. The dirt will be frickin' GREAT with that light overnight drizzle and ride in light drops on Sunday. We still get dry on Fri-Sat so no real impact on activities except Sunday riding, the man upstairs must owe Butch a favor or something.....
