Fun time, as usual.
My tent placement turned out to be in the edge of a lake, by Sunday afternoon.
The Sunday was kinda fun, in hindsight. Soaked within an hour, a couple greasy spots, but traction was generally pretty good. Gotta remember fishing gear next time. Although fishing cuts into riding time.
I probably have pictures to post.

Fun riding up there with everyone, good to see the regulars. Saturday I rode out with Trevor, Peter and Peter then got Dimitry with us near the end. Did a bunch of stuff in the teens, 4, 6, stuff in the 20's and 40 to home base, my odo said we did about 70 mi. Dry, dusty and temps in the mid 70's.
Sunday I got out early to try and hit a small window in the rain..missed it about 10 minutes into the ride and got soaked, oh well. Rode about 25 mi, up 40, out 21 and over to 2 and back to camp. Muddy, slick in spots, raining enough so goggles were just getting in the way, totally fun. Ran into Eric, Dimitry, the Peters, Josh and Trevor all stuck or waiting to get up the last bit of 40 on my way down. Guess it got more nasty than when I had come up it.

We missed Daniel, CJ, Tom and SFC John; hopefully we'll see you guys at the next one. We talked enough shit about CJ it was almost like he was there...heh heh. BTW Dimitry made a great fire; not huge but very well balanced with (4) 16" diameter logs. To give an idea how low key the fire scene was we all made predictions about how the logs would tumble as they burned down...then sat there and watched to see who got it right.

Laugh..... I strongly considered going, even if not riding any serious dirt. Then I almost just drove over there Saturday for just the fireside chats as I haven't been riding. But a dry bed won over camping in the rain that day for me.

We're still glowing and babbling about the great weekend we had, Jen and I. Best riding ever on Saturday was blown away by that Sunday rain ride--we warmed up with the slippery water feature that was the day before's pleasant jetting loop and then headed out for the 20 and basically spent the day giggling. Thank you SOOO much dear Motogirl41 for keeping the fire going for when we got back, swimming pools for boots and freezing to the bone.

I can still hear my tires coast racing down the 30
back to camp.

I received my BARF license to post today. Just want to thank everyone for a fantastic time. Unfortunately my Gopro chin bar mount didn’t allow for a good view. Pointed slightly down. I have some great footage of my handlebars!
