The Home Grower's Thread

Made some butter a couple days ago. Slathering it on some English muffins before work may not have been the best idea to test for potency. :laughing

My roommate and his buddy each ate half a cookie I made from a batch with 2 sticks of butter sous vided with 1.5 oz of trim and they got pretty messed up.

Bring at least one two cookies to the party next Sunday, please.

Duuuuuuuuuuuuude! You brave.

:laughing

Not (quite) as bad as it sounds. I know my tolerance, and I knew I had a very slow day planned...although I did decide NOT to drive down to the hardware store for some fittings. :rofl

This is the buddy you gave seeds to and they were planted on a little hillside?

Yes this is the only one that was female. It's literally in his backyard just beyond the concrete. The buds were super moist and heavy. He never PH balanced anything he just used "Grow" and "Bloom" nutes that I gave him every second watering.

He must have good soil or the water where he lives is a lot lower than SF's.

I have a 4x4 gorilla tent, a phantom 1000W digital ballast and a Magnum XXXL 8" reflector that I might have let go for $500. I don't think I will do indoor again. Its fun but I prefer the sun and I get more than enough for myself and friends. The gorilla tent is really nice. I think I paid like $450 just for that.

I have that same tray 4x4 too. I paid like $90 for it locally.

Was the main turnoff to indoor the cost of running that 1000 watt hps? Cost played a big role in deciding to try this. It's going to start as a little veg tent, but even still I didn't want to spend for name brand stuff. Vivosun gets good reviews and it hits that "cheapest you can find of decent quality" pricepoint, so you can get almost everything for just the cost of a gorilla tent. And since it's for veg, the little 315 will do fine.

I like outdoor too, but it was getting out of hand. The helicopter would circle and give the sign language equivalent of, "you should probably stop that", plus the county came out and had me cut a bunch down. I wanna do a little indoor and maybe a couple outdoor next year and that's it. Low key and off the radar.

Do you remember what you were able to pull from that 4x4 tent with 1000 watt hps in the 4x4 and what strains?
