Got all 5 clones up and running. Will need to start the LST soon.



Both lights running. You can see I ran a little low on the coco/perlite for the last two but I'm not ordering another bag for that ;)

I really set back my little gorilla seed by moving it from the cloner too soon. Hopefully those smaller ones do okay.

Soo is anyone on LED's all the way through veg and flower? What do they cost to run? I'm having a disappointing outdoor season and am kicking around the idea of an winter indoor but don't want to pay PG@E to run my 1000 watt HPS again. Also I was bummed about the results of 1000 watt HPS on a 5' x 5' sativa dominant SOG grow. Buds were small and loose and not really worth the trouble. I have read that 1000 watts on a 5 x 5 is not quite enough juice for sativa.

Pretty sure HHM is using LED start to finish. I'd love to setup a little 3x3 tent build a light fixture with four 50w COB LED's.

Dried some last week and trimmed last night. Came out nice. Trim was loaded with crystals too, need to find a renegade lab rat to do something with it.

I'm using dual 450/600 LEDs and I probably use over $100 a month in electricity

Mike I have used LED from seed to harvest. I have a 400w cobb and a 1000w full spectrum. I have a really small setup 2x4x4 and everyone online will say the 1000w is too much but it works just fine in my tent. There was no significant difference even when I had the 400w over the babies and the 1000w going I have not noticed anything crazy. I asked my wife how much it has gone up since I started it and she said maybe $25-$40. It has been 2 harvest on the third and even though it is nothing that pumps out pounds it is enough for me. Plus I only grow two plants in my tent and you could easily fit more if you place them close like HH pic. Let me know if you have any questions I would be glad to help ya out. Everything was super cheap all shipped right to my door good ole Amazin lol

I do find the temps get into the 80s during warm weather. I have no real way to cool the single car garage down other than cracking the door but adding the $25 tower fan from costco seems to do the trick.
 
The good thing about my tent being small is that my girls are in my bedroom , they are as comfortable as I am lol. Temp is the same in the tent as ambient air in the room. Buy a Vornado for the garage I personally think they are worth the money!
 
My bedroom and house would stink terribly close to harvest even with my fan/filter setup.

I try and keep it low key, you wouldn't know from being in my house I even smoke weed.
 
It's funny I have mine just venting into my room and while there is a slight hint of it in the air it is only in the bedroom and lucky for my I don't have to worry about my wife being surprised when walking in. If I had a garage I would use it as well!

Thanks Mike! It's not much of a flavor strain, but the effects are good.

I enjoy the flavors but I have had a lot of really good tasting buds that weren't really good Tangie was one of them, not bad but tasted amazing!

The links in my account show they are not available any longer and the 1000w link is the same light I have different branding.

There is also a lot of write-ups on making your own LED or COBB lights at a fraction of the price but they are all older and the price has came down so much for the price I just purchased them and no worries if anything fails. So far they have both been working great and no problems at all with consecutive harvest. Also the temps stay much cooler in the tent.

I can't imagine a $100 "1000 watt" LED light is as good as even my 450 which cost like 5x the price.

If it is then I got ripped off.
 
All the LED technology out there is getting cheaper and cheaper, many are not what they claim to be but I did some searching around and if the numbers were correct I gave it a shot. I did send back one that was supposed to be 1500w and my 400w cobb out produced it! That is when I started using my 1000w again and everything has been pretty good. I stopped using it only because I thought that it was too much for the size tent and my girls were getting light damage. Nope it was not light damage but my PH was just off.

Correct PH, cheap lights , a couple of fans, FFOF, and I save a shitload of money. Once we buy a home then I will be stepping it up but for the meantime everything has paid for itself and I cannot complain about my cost being $40 a month to have top shelf stuff :)

That is an awesome light, I looked at that one but didn't have that type of money to spend. Plus yours has the reflectors from what I can see mine is just clear glass over the led's. Plus you have both veg and flower in one light I would use the 400w and then switch to the 1000w. The thing is that even with my 400w Cobb the girls grew to the top of the tent.

Well things are coming along nicely.

had a couple of hiccups. Mainly, we bought a new house and are moving. SO while I had these in the ground and they were going like gangbusters, I had to dig each one up and put them in twenty gallon grow bags.

The four big ones in a row are a big sativa (Thai X Malawi) called Golden Tiger. The biggest one is currently over eight feet tall (including pot).

The other one is Ghost Train Haze. It has started flowering. The Sativas are just now starting to tighten up but no flowers yet.
