niners in contract talks with geoff schwartz. he'd be an upgrade at rg over snyder and rachal. which isn't saying much, but the guy is pretty good.
Yeah, but he's got that bond with Payton, I wonder if this will sway him one way or another....
only option he has is to sit the year out and the saints would still have his rights. don't see where he has swaying room.

Looks like even Jesus hates the Jets.

and exclusive rights franchised. no other team can even talk to him.

He already said he'll be pissed if he gets a franchise tag. :laughing This may be the most EPIC Professional Sports Team implosion EVER!

Snitches get...

tweeted about?

It really is becoming the National Flag Football League.

Whatever happened to getting him drunk and beating the shit out of him in the alley behind the bar?

the problem is the guys are just getting to big strong and fast to play the same game. the guys nowadays are straight up monsters compared to the past. the rules dont match the size and strength of the players anymore. even middle of the road guys nowadays, if put back 20-30 years, would be behemoths by comparison. I mean seriously linebackers in this day and age, getting hit by one of them is like getting hot by a car. its stupid. the rules have to change, whether we like it or not.

true. recently, i was looking at the weight lifting for football book i bought when i was a high school freshman ("the strongest shall survive"). it was written by a guy who was a strength coach with the colts, oilers and several d1 schools. at one point he states, "a 250-lb lineman is going to be handling more weight than a 185-lb quarterback." :laughing

Weight isn't everything:

Ain't that the truth!

I remember when every NFL team tried to have at least one 300 pounder on their line (this was only a couple decades ago!).....now the average line weight of every major college team is around 300 pounds! :wow

if he was playing today, i guarantee you he wouldn't just weigh 220 lbs. most people under 35 have no idea how far athletic training has come since the late 70's/early 80's

If he was playing today, Tebow would be on IR.

:laughing

That said, point taken, Max.

I'm just saying, attitude does matter. He was a tough son of a bitch. Made up for his size easily.

:laughing

Goodell stormed the Saints castle, raped their 'horses' and rode off on their women. :laughing dagum that is a hammer to the kneecaps....

and the players haven't even found out their punishments yet! what if 3-4 D players get multi game suspensions? whole-y-shite. let say, 3rd place in their Div?

Niners draft talk, interesting possibilities - http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...raft-evaluating-matt-millers-first-round-pick

i think they go O line in the first unless there is a DB they can't say no to (not likely). then in the second they go with a WR or DB that can double as a return man, al la PP for the Cards last year, until they're ready to be a starter. i normally HATE the idea of trading up but in this instance i wouldn't be took broken up if they traded spots to go up to 15 and one of their 2's this year to get DeCastro.

Bleacher Report lol.

If they're gonna trade up to get a lineman, it's gonna be Peter Konz who will play RG for 2 years and then take over at Center for the next 8 after Goodwin's contract expires.

and the players haven't even found out their punishments yet!

I haven't even seen anybody mention it anywhere, wondering if they are just going to lay it on the staff and leave it at that or what

I think the players will also get to eat from the shit-stew they cooked up.

They should rename themselves as New Orleans Devils from next year onwards :laughing

probably, but for all the talk of RG riding in and cleaning up town, it's kind of weird if he didn't just get it all done with at once, isn't it?

darren sharper is gonna get raeped. half the highlights on nfl network showing the saints cheap shots were him. vilma was a close second.
