Well, this one wasn't. The rule should be that they have to be then, like having to tuck in the jerseys, which always seemed pretty anal-retentive to many....

Let me make it clear, I am much more sympathetic to Crabtree. I think Talib is the one who should be suspended for grabbin the damn thing. That is straight up instigation.
 
I think they have already said that any jewelry exposed is considered part of the uniform and can be used to make the tackle. Just as long hair is considered part of the uniform.

Crabtree could have disengaged the block the moment he left the playing field. The both of them are jackwagons but I have no sympathy for someone that lost some jewelry on the field.

Want to keep it? Protect it in a safe while you go play games.
 
Yeah, from where I stand, any time you are blocking, if you have a necklace swinging around, the guy you are blocking fucked up if you don't lose it. Rules are similar for a tackle.

I'm guessing no suspension for Talib, for ripping off the helmet and throwing it at Crabs, and for swinging like a girl. one game for Crabs for a hell of a block, and connecting a real nice hook to Talib's face-asshole. and one game to Jackson for trying to help his teammates as the Broncos tried to take Crabs' jewelry and shoes.

I am too... Talib's a POS, and it's fun to watch this team that bet everything on an aging Manning to get to and then win a Super Bowl flounder the way it is, and knowing they as far from a Super Bowl as a 3 win team can get, and in this league, that may mean years. John Elway doesn't look so smart now.

I liked Crabs channeling the ghosts of the AFL past, maybe even Alzado mean, and I think even Talib was surprised by it.

I hope Darian Stewart gets a suspension for the hit on Amari Cooper as well, that was some f***ed up shit.

Most GM's never get to see a Superbowl Win. That, along with with his playing career, already puts him in an All Time Greats Circle with guys like Dan Reeves and Don Shula.

Not going to defend Talib. He's a dumb-ass...on the other hand...so is Crabs. And if you think any old timers would have watched the sissy-assed slap-fighting yesterday and commended Crabs for his manliness you must pass the Dutchy, yo. He looked like a little bitch out there swinging while backing up the whole time. Crabs' name will not be whispered on winds of Autumn future after he's left the game.

The bit I saw had Crabs doing a back-peddle while tossing out slaps that didn't even connect. I was watching other games on Sunday because the Raiders weren't on my parlay. I guess I missed the bit where Crabs was full beast on Talib. :dunno

Okay, I've watched the whole thing multiple times and there is no point at which Crabs did anything commendable. None. And he sure as hell didn't pay any homage to the great beasts Tooz or Zado.
