The Official 2017/2018 NFL Thread

I kinda get why Young comes off as salty. He recently fessed up that he would have left football years ago if it weren't for his other business partners asking him to keep up his name recognition for the purposes of selling their investments

IDK who this Doug Sovernr guy is but... oh damn.

:laughing Man, they really do belong in Oakland.

From the water boy for the team at 12 years old to being one of the more storied owners in the league.

RIP.

Say it ain't so, Eli...

Could he be the next high profile QB to sit out a few weeks at the behest of the Commish?

I doubt it. This is pretty minor petty nonsense and there are no criminal charges involved.

Yeah, he wants to end the Oakland Raiders. Will probably sign a 2 year deal to close off the Al Davis legacy forever.

In that case, I'll cheer for the Raiders until they are gone. Especially if they land Sherman too. I've always liked those guys.

I hate rich ppl, imma sue you instead of making eli put the helmet on and ram ppl

Tjats how i woulda settled

I'm catching bits and pieces of the WH visit by the Pats, most of the team is there (36 players, they said*), but they didn't really look like they wanted to be there, but they were on their best behavior.

Gronk crashed Melissa McCarthy's press briefing.

*50 Pats players attended with BHO, and Bush WH visits by the Pats never did go above 30 players.

LOL, if I was Eli, I would just settle with this guy by promising him 6 Game Worn Helmets instead of the 2 he was promised, then I would spend as much money as required to wear a new helmet every possession (about 12 per game typically) for an entire season and flood the market with them to value them as shit. Memorabilia hawkers like this guy annoy the shit out of me. They are just starfuckers playing at being legit business people.

^ that's a good one

I mean, it is not like Eli gives a fuck about the money, right? I think his net worth must be at least $100 Mill by now. NFL team QB ready helmets probably cost $1,000 or some insane shit, but still, I would just pay the $200k for the helmets to fuck this guy off. :laughing

The Raiders 2017 schedule

that 2nd half of the season looks to be a real challenge. vs Pats, Ponies, and Giants, then on the road for 3 of the last 4. Hopefully they start strong and weather the storm of the latter part of the schedule.

I'll be happy if they knock Tommy and Eli into retirement... :teeth

The Mexico game will be a massive "home" game, I doubt Mexican fans will be forgetting that Kraft and Trump "best buds". Laser pointers to the eyes of TB for $200, Alex.

But seriously, you're right, and they aren't going to sneak up on anybody this year, either.
