looooooooooooove Shakshuka. Would you share the recipe please? Mine are either tomato based or heavy on greens. What is in there, tomatoes, green peppers, a few different onions, yeah, the eggs. Beat me up, what did I miss? Looks de-lish!

i cleaned out the fridge. quiche with spinach, potato, mushrooms, cheese, herbs and spices.

I know, nothing mind blowing... but here is the recipe:

trader joe's 3 seed sourdough bread
butter
trader joe's bomba sauce
sliced avocado
trader joe's everything but the bagel seasoning

looks delicious. i would add nutritional yeast. i’m addicted and have been forever.

Shakshuka recipe for Christmas? No? Merry Christmas regardless.

oh shoot. it’s painfully basic as i make it. i make mememen. it’s a turkish dish but yall know it better as shakshuka.

white onion cut in long thin strips. sauté in a neutral oil.

add anaheim peppers, cut into strips or rings. saute. right before you add some chopped tomatoes throw in cumin, black pepper, salt and stir a bit until the flavors bloom. throw in tomatoes. reduce heat a notch. once everything is pretty soft and caramelized and the flavors are magical crack eggs on top of the mixture, throw a lid on, turn off the heat and let it cook the eggs to your liking. i like to serve with crusty bread or french fries.

and sometimes, simple is best. don’t be shy with the spices.

A very Merry Christmas to you, and thank you for the recipe. It differs only slightly from mine, but I will use yours the next time I make it.

Tried this popular recipe:

I didn't take a nice pic of the beans, but they were very tasty.
