What Are You Thinking Of Right Now?

Yes, among other things. I've tried it 4 times over the years, 6+ sessions each time... sciatica twice, neck once, achilles once. It never helped in my cases.
Bummer.

I was indeed surprised at the rapid improvement for my wife.

Doctors and chiros didn't help and she was stuck on the couch in pain.

No relapses even though she walks 5 miles/day with elevation changes.

I guess I'll have to erase my acupuncture quackery skepticism... Only one way to find out, right?

I've had similar; stuck on the floor for two days at a time. My nerve isuse/ pain was coming from muscle spasms though. Not many Chiro's can fix it, but my guy in Oakland is an accident specialist. He's the only one who was able to fix it. Comes from a slalom skiing fall almost 20 years ago. It returns now from crashes (racing) and not stretching. If you want to try him, he's 100% worth the visit, IME. Lots of people get limp in and walk out, fully upright. Truly a miracle worker.

Let me know if anyone wants the contact info.

My experience with chiro has been equal to a good sports massage... I usually get some very temporary relief. The last time I went to a chiro I was walking out of his office thinking he was a miracle worker! Got in my car and turned my head to back out- and pop... right back where I started. :laughing

Neither acupuncture nor chiropracty works. If it does work, it’s because of the placebo effect.

Basically they are both voodoo.

Same. I have to go back; it's not permanent...but I've been able to extend with some targeted stretches, etc.

Nerve pain is so unpredictable. The bad part of my femoral nerve damage is it hurts the worst when I sit or lay down! So I've got sciatica when I'm standing up, and then femoral pain when I try to sit (drive) or lay down to sleep. So no relief... fucking diabolical! :thumbdown

Man.....that hurts to read. I feel for you Ricky, and I've not had it near that bad.

+1 for acupuncture. broke my neck in a horse riding mid jump ass over teakettle tumble (both me and the gelding cartwheeled). three vertebrae. all fused, but major lingering pain. tried everything - acupuncture did the trick (was skeptical, but tried it - no longer skeptical). if you’re not getting relief via that method, try a different therapist.

i’m thinking about going to boise for custard again.

also: this walking boot sucks gigantic butt! i hate it. :x

TWT- That boot, as you know, protects you from YOU. Don't force the doctor put a cone around your neck and affix socks on your hands to keep you from messing with your distal appendage.

Take some American cheese food slices and thrown them at your TV. Trust me, satisfying. Much cheaper than going Elvis when you are frustrated.

While I enjoy art, modern art, this kind of stuff just makes me scratch my head.

I’m thinking, grey skies are gonna clear up and I’m putting on a freaking happy face.
I’m also thinking, plowing the boat at speed into a trough yesterday was pretty stupid and now I look like I’ve been in a fight :facepalm
