Hard to say. 2 pages of google shows that his co-founder switched but no credible source confirms it. I wonder if the sites that claim it got confused with co-founder and assumed it.

Seems like a fake news story that just got accepted by the Right because he's Left.

Because this thread is about Hawaii, and white Americans took over the islands and turned it into a profit center for the corporations in the sugar trade while completely fucking over the monarchy of Hawaii.
And then made a sweet vacation spot where the locals get to wait on tourists for minimum wage.

LOL, you say that like Chinese, Filipino, and Japanese don't buy THE FUCK out of Hawaii. Hawaii is the only state where Asians are not some kind of bizarre fringe minority and it is not just because of the native Pacific Islanders. Last I recall, people of Japanese descent outnumber the Islanders by like 2/1 and the non-islander Asians outnumbered the honkies by like 25% more.
