2020 F1 SEASON

Red Bull needs to swap Albon and Gasly back immediately. Albon is a fucking mess and doesn't deserve that seat. At least Maldonado was usually running into walls rather than other cars. Albon is a fucking joke and Red Bull just needs to admit they made a mistake and swap the drivers back.

Agreed.

Albon seems to have a driving style that puts him into position to collide with other cars. The first few times, the other drivers got blamed, now the pattern is continuing with just about every other driver in the field. It's either all of the other drivers, or it's him.

Ehhhh....Albon has great skill and aggression. The dude pushes so hard, it's awesome. There's the old saying for racers: I can train as fast rider not to crash, but I can't train a slow rider to be fast...

Nah. Gasly is doing well at AT. I don't think he'd want to go back to RB after the way they treated him. His best bet is to move onto another team.

Hard to say at this point.
RB has Adrian Newey, which means that they have the best aerodynamicist, I'm not sure that any of the other teams that produce engines are going to want their engines in one of his cars.

Great to Ricciardo on the podium again.

Poor Bottas, he had that race in the bag.

Until he didn't.

Man, I was shocked yesterday when they casually mentioned the wheel size of F1 cars.

13".

Sheesh, I thought the 15" wheels on my MX5 were considered tiny, never mind that they came with 14" wheels stock.

They're supposed to change to 18" wheels in 2021 with the other car changes, but I'm not sure it's still on...

Interesting, that would result in a 38.5% increase in circumference that would result in a noticeable increase in duration of the tires.

On the other side of the equation, it would increase the unsprung mass of the tires which would have ramifications for suspension adjustments.

I'm assuming they'd have lower profile tires with taller wheels.
