My Bronco will haul those on top of the roof rack.
Yeah, I have a Ford Ranger which is basically the Explorer but with no passenger row and a 6ft bed. I was actually thinking of upgrading to the Sport Trac but that bed is pretty useless so decided against it.
I thought it came with a bed extender that basically makes the bed 6ft.
I've honestly never understood why people think a half a foot seems to make or break a truck when you can just lower the tailgate and use one of those "bed extenders" to carry whatever you need...assuming you really need that extra half a foot. I'd suspect most truck owners do not.![]()
Since this is a Ford thread, I saw a Mach-E today. It's not terrible looking but it just seems wrong.
OK, I'm living under a rock obviously but that's the first I've heard of that shit. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. Having owned 3 Mustangs that really offends the shit out of me.

The plywood sheet measuring thing doesn't make any sense anymore. Almost no one really uses a modern truck to carry a sheet of plywood. If you say otherwise, I'd honestly ask you to take pictures or I'd basically call you a liar.![]()
It does if you still build stuff!

Nobody uses a modern truck to carry a sheet of plywood because the beds are too small. Duh.The plywood sheet measuring thing doesn't make any sense anymore. I've had multiple contractors in my yard for months and not a single one of them have ever brought in sheets on their work trucks. They're always delivered by a delivery service. I've even asked the contractor why he does that and he said it's cheaper and easier to use the local delivery services than for them to go get the stuff and bring it themselves. He also said if he really need to carry plywood sheets, he'd just use the rack on his truck to do it and strap them down. The bed is for heavy stuff.![]()

Exactly!Wait a second! Does this apply to the Bronco as well?So forgive me if I am the jaded villager who’s tired of the boy who cried wolf. But I’ve seen this vaporware act for too many times over the past several years now. I’m not paying too much more attention to these things until someone introduces something and it’s actually a product you can buy.

You guys know I’m the furthest thing from a Tesla fanboy. But I’ll give them this...at least they have a car to market. Not everything they said (still not holding my breath on the Cybertruck), but you can at least buy a Tesla.
All these startups. All. Of. Them. Nikola, Rivian, Byton, Farraday, Nio, dozens of others, and now what will almost certainly be the same for this Canoo? We’ve been getting “shown” these vehicles for years now. Where the fuck can I buy one?!?!. If Lucid doesn’t come to market pretty soon here, you can lump them in with this group too.
Ford is selling the Mach-E now. It’s real. There are cars on the road that don’t have “mfg” plates on the back. It’s not out yet, but I have full confidence that GM will come out with the Hummer EV as they said. VW has the iD4...a bit underwhelming, but it’s real too. But Ford, GM, and VW are big established car companies who know what are the final steps involved to bring a car to market beyond just making a rolling prototype and filming an overglorified sizzle reel and calling it a media launch event.

Yeah I agree, so much vaporware. Looks cool though.
Looking forward to the Tesla Cybertruck - should blow the F150, Bronco, etc etc out the water in pretty much every way possible.
