2025 F1 Season (spoilers will be discussed)

The 10-second penalty for Piastri did seem a little harsh, but even if it was a 5-second, Lando was ahead by at least that much.

And way to go Hulkenberg!
Dumb move by Piastri; could come back to haunt him.

Everyone loved Hulkenberg making the podium.:thumbup:thumbup

Red Bull pulled quite the amateur move by going all in to win the pole with low downforce for a race that would definitely see rain.

With Hulk's P3, he's scored more points than Racing Bulls, Aston, Haas and Alpine. LOL

His 15 points helped Sauber jump ahead of Racing Bulls, Aston, and Haas in the Constructors. Having both Racing Bulls retire and both Haas cars finish outside the points, helped as well.

Changing conditions often make for great races. Being wet isn't enough - a race where everyone runs Inters for the whole thing wouldn't have been this good.

All of Hulk's points this year have come from starting outside the top 10. Kinda funny for Mr Saturday.

Piastri said that he did the same braking maneuver for the first restart as a defense of the second. The Stewards replied that was another reason why he was penalized

Nice to see some drivers lauded him; I'm sure more than this did as I understand he's a solid and decent man.

It was also reported that Aston Martin also gifted Sauber champagne following the milestone moment. Drivers also took the opportunity to congratulate Hulkenberg. "Yessss Nicooo. So happy for you," four-time F1 world champion Max Verstappen commented on social media.

Esteban Ocon also wrote, "Mega job mate and very well deserved."

They fired Horner because everything has gotten worse and the final trigger might be MV leaving the team. Everyone of importance have left for greener pastures so why retain the TP at this point.

Newey left because of the unrest in the team during the Horner scandal earlier this year.

Wheatley had been looking to be promoted to TP (Horners Role) for a while now. He got offered that role for Audi (Sauber next year) and left. He was such a gem for Red Bull.

Horner had a good run of 20 years as TP.

Wow, all the talk about Vasseur maybe being let go at Ferrari and this comes out. Wonder how Red Bull went under the Silly Season radar on this one.

I guess now we are going to see what Horner wants....What he really really wants... :teeth

So, are there going to be any bets on where Horner lands?

There must have been something going on that caused them to fire him mid-season, whether it's related to the possibility of MV moving on or some other reason may or may not come out eventually.
