Good post Rob, with that stuff in mind it would appear as though Buttonwillow would be the smart choice, assuming a reasonable amount of people showed.
Another question to be asked: What races would be "made up?" The entire missed weekend, including Clubman? Or just the expert races? This probably hasn't been discussed yet, but it would influence -- or may -- some peoples decision as well.
How would it be 4 thill weekends ? Aug, (Sept), Oct
Sucks for me ... both of those tracks are high power high speed. I personally would rather have infineon because the power difference comes into play at bwillow and thill for me. But, my own benefit is insignificant when choosing the greater good.
I think I would vote for bwillow ( I am gonna think about it ) because it brings more balance to the variety of tracks we visit.

Not to mention the missed races from the previous Buttonwillow rainout. Perhaps there should be a make up make up race.
I'm not gonna argue on the double point thing though, only because I don't have enough weight in this club to complain either way -- and it would suck because I'm kind-of-sort-of close in Clubman Lightweight...
It's all about what's best for the club until it gets a little tough and you have to drive a couple extra hours and from what I am hearing that is the complaint. Stop looking a gift horse in the mouth and just take it and run and appreciate that the club is actually attempting to do something that will allow them not to raise fees.
Wipe all the bw races left over. Don't add an extra weekend and do not run double point races is my vote. Let's fit in what we can and have already prepared for. This is a cluster enough as it is.
Cancelling the Buttonwillow makeup races means that you don't count any points from that weekend towards overall points at the end of the season. That seems a little bit unfair to the guys that showed up and kicked ass.
Don't forget the impact the choice of not running more events will have on the costs for the remaining ones and perhaps ev en the ones for years to come.
There is a very long term trickle down effect that these choices will directly have on the ability of the club to remain financially affordable for even more racers.
We've already lost a great number of racers due to costs in one way or another and if we see an even further increase in fees I question if the increase would even make up for the numbers in riders we lose?
