Alta motors ceases operations

I don’t spread rumors. But... Monday morning may bring an update.
 
Saw that one I thought it'd make a nice track bike. But then again I have the Empulse already... =/

Oh oh, someone is upset.

It's ok, I know several upset owners too and a local dealer. They weren't thrilled about the no notice last second news of Alta going under for whatever reason. Especially after just dropping $13k on new bikes and poof gone with the wind.
 
Now to see if they are going to have a fire sale so I can snag myself another historical EV bike.

Apparently you want to make yourself out to appear to be "in the know" for what ever reason while providing ZERO input whatsoever. Guess we'll have to wait and read about it in the next issue lol.

Opinions are one thing. Bullshit scenarios that ignore available facts in favor of bitching about or proposing a nonsense hypothetical, while all-too-common on the internet, are another.

Again, nope. If I wanted to make myself out to be "in the know," I would have dropped some knowledge. The actual scenario here is that unlike you and some others in this thread, I'm simply declining to run my mouth until I have something thoughtful or factual to add to the discussion. Your post was neither.

Makes sense to me, why buy the company with the burden of existing staff and contracts when you can just buy out the tangible parts. Plus I would like to send off my displaced executive staff with a decent severance package of some sort. It would be a real dick move on my part to pull the plug on my staff without notice and without some sort of financial assistance.
 
I'm curious where these "Monday" rumors came from.

The rumor I've read on FB came from a (Former) Alta employee..

Paraphrasing but, "CEO told us yesterday that all the parts, bikes and equipment are going to be auctioned off to pay vendors that are owed ridiculous money. Received 15 pallets of wp suspension on Monday. Everything will be liquidated ASAP. A case of poor management"
