Anyone need some 45ACP defensive ammo? I bought a case of Federal P45HST1 230gr +P JHP from Diezel here, but my Ruger P345 doesn't seem to like it.

I'd like to swap 1:1 for some other good 45 (standard pressure), if nobody wants to do that I might be open to sell it.

I'll trade some boxes of 45. I have Federal 230gr FMJ. Just like the box shows on the bottom. Say 250rds? I don't need 1000rd of JHP.

I'd say even 250 rounds of defensive ammo is far more than I'd need. I tend to buy 2 50 packs, shoot one through my various guns to make sure at least 1-2 full mags cycle through my carry pieces, then load my spare mags with what's left.

Everything else is for the range.

I can shoot my 9mm faster, put more rounds on target and it has energy comparable to 45.

This coming from you, Disturbs me. 9mm even +p doesn't have "comparable" energy to a .45 If you wanna argue 9mm +p, then stack it against .45 +p as well.

As for less recoil, and faster target acquisition times, I'll agree on that.

FWIW: Those 2 specific lists, are rounding Up (in many cases of the 9mm) and rounding down on a lot of the .45 specs.

Hey, I keep pointing it out and it goes clear over most people's heads - the sheer amount he's able to pull for these disaster dates ought to tell BARFers something, but...

Besides, nobody cares about the ride where everything went well, nobody wrecked, no close calls, etc. It's the youtube clip of the epic 5 car pileup that resulted in a bike launched 300 yards over a semi and into a pickup that's being driven by Michael Bay that grabs everyone's attention.
