And to those of you thinking, "Hey Miran, it's a felony to make a pistol-grip rifle that can accept detachable magazines!"
That only applies to semiautomatic centerfire rifles.
1) No gas mechanism
2) Can't accept a magazine of any kind due to nonexistant mag release

Right, so if I dont have a mag catch/release at all, it's ok to have the pistol grip etc, right? All the people talking about never assembling their lower until the mag is fixed inside... Is it just one of those better safe than sorry things?

My non-loctited 10-32 nut fell off while I was shooting and I was too lazy to walk back to my truck to grab another, so I just held the mag inside each time I shot and it worked fine.

Glock day at Canyon Sports 4/1/06

Got a card in the mail today for the annual Glock day at Canyon Sports in Martinez on April 1st from 9 to 5. Get a Glock 17, 19, 22, 23, 26, or 27. $459.00, one per customer

I don't like Canyon, but those are good prices. They still won't see any more of my money though. Just a personal thing with how they do business/treat customers. Nuff said for now.

I guess the magazine catch thing is irrelevant, the main point is that it's not a semiautomatic rifle

+100 I actually like the owner Ron, but I've had enough of their attitude and shitty service. I've spent quite a bit of money there and will do so no longer.

glock 21's are pure sex, you shoudl get two, im trying a get another one before the ban

The ban has already happened, just California using it's frog in hot water technique so nobody notices.

Now all handguns must have both a magazine disconnect or loaded chamber indicator to be placed on the approved handgun list. Guns that are on there now are grandfathered but once their listing expires, bye bye. So if you want a Glock or a 1911 I'd pick one up soon.

This year, it's just one feature or the other, and next year it's both, right?

Guns that are on the list will stay on as long as the MFG pays the extortion fee every year.

That law got me to finally buy a P7M8, and G19. I want to get a HiPower before the end of the year, and then remove the magazine safety.

Thanks for the info

Yes, you are correct sir. Though the magazine disconnect must be part of rimfires as of this year.

Gotta love this state. Freaking morons.
