BARF Militia

hm, dont know about that, i just checked and the only conversions i see for a g20 is a .357 sig ad 40s&w

might be able to put a STOCK g21 barrel in there., the but the locking block might be different and all the internal geometry, plus, look at the extractor, totally different width bullets, not sure if it would work

get a glock 22 for ultimate conversions, you get 40, 357 and 9mm in one handgun

No, I decided to do the .50 as a first build. Maybe I'll do the grendal as a second build. Shit, I'll need another receiver for a .223 build. I was looking at those lowers out of the swamp, I need to get a san leandro area FFL.

Wadda ya think?

These look like an AR..... :p

I haven't seen anything on Calguns as to who is machining them. For the price, I think a couple HAS to be worth a try....

get the stag arms lowers from dd's ranch on calguns,. 99 bucks each, cant beat that.

You know, it seems there are only a few people actually machining these things. With that, I'd rather not have the deer head. :laughing
No matter what, I would like to pick up a couple more in a couple of weeks. I found the name of the local FFL. So, it's just a wait for some mailbox money.
I've been thinking about doing a Yugo AK like Miran's, as well.
Of course, then ther is the *currently* legal 1919............

I would really like an MGI lower, but those are some damn expensive paper weights.

Mack was funny when I was ordering my buffer. He said, "Hey, what the hell are you guy's doing with all those lowers out there!?!?!?!"

I said, "Holding down paper".

Apparently, his entire years stock was gone before febuary. They pretty much all went to California.

He also said the CA DOJ called him. They said, "Please do not ship lowers to california".

Mack said, (ready to argue), "Are you trying to tell me I can't send these to california?"

DOJ said, "No, we would just appreciate it if you didn't...."

LOLzors!

Funny thing is that if they never would have banned assault weapons on a state or federal level, there would probably be 5% of what we have now in circulation. I had several friends who never owned guns buy an AR and couple other AW type guns in 1999 to beat the ban. Then they went on to buy other guns. So the one benefit is that it has created a bunch of new gun owners.

NoTime2Ride,
I like that quote you have in your sig, involving drinking and riding :laughing :laughing I can't remember what it was about, but I'm sure I didn't mean that drinking socially and consecutively riding were good things :laughing

I know, that's why I ended up cleaning snot off of my monitor. :laughing

I don't remember what thread it was. Probably a huge, stupid, misunderstanding, drama thread.

On a firearm related note. While I am expecting shipment on my Beowulf upper kit in May, my 4 round mag has shipped. So.... I can get to work on fixing my mag. Now that I have a bunch of innards, looking at my mag release button; the idea I had for fixing it won't work. I figure that the FAL style set screw idea is the best way. I'm going to drill and tap the bugger myself. I can't see wasting money on another button and parts that are easilly obtainable.

Although, legally, the way SJ gun exchange does theirs may be best. I need to change between 7 and 4 round mags for hunting.

I also need to order some button head allens for my trigger/hammer pins I am machining.

Anyone know how to make an AK-47 firing mechanism work? :( Stupid sear/trigger hooks not releasing the hammer when you pull the trigger. Back to the drawing board..I think it's because my sear can't move on the trigger assembly, despite the spring being there

I think the installation instructions start on page 3 or 4.
