BARF Militia

I see CDNN has those EAA Witness 9mm for $239 NIB...I'm thinking about getting it for the girlfriend as her first gun :cool
I'm thinking either that or a .22 rifle, which is probably a better idea 'cause she can go shoot it forever for $10

I wonder if there are any cheap, surplus 6.5x55 Swiss mausers floating around anymore...

Oh yeah, and today I'm going to send two of my handguns to Robar for refinishing: my treasured but rusting GP100, and my newish Bobcat. I'll get the GP100 in Roguard to keep it black, but the Bobcat in NP3 for that pimpin' nickel sheen. :cool

y0,

T minus 8 days until I get my SKS. I just ordered a synthetic stock and scope. Now which locking case should I get and where?

haha, jumping into it with both feet, eh? :thumbup

get a good locking case that can hold your 10/22 as well. stop by sometime and I'll show you a couple options. I have 2 differnet hard cases.

my Springfield Operator needs a new finish, where you getting it done? and maybe prices?
specifically the Robar, want a TRP looking finish, but going to look at all options

Dudes, I really like this CZ :cool
Apparently, the 75BD POLICE model is cool in that it comes with stock night sights and a loaded chamber indicator.

CDNN won't ship handguns to CA, so if that's your source, look elsewhere, or find a FFL outside CA that'll buy and forward it for you.

I whipped by the local Big 5, but they didn't have ANY 6.5mm rifles. :cry

bill if you want the trp finish, just get a can of duracoat and do it yourself, its VERY easy and cheap. i have black duracoat and a airbrush, just pop it in the oven aferwards and its done, i admit, the first few times i messed up and added slightly too much hardener resulting in a glossy finish, but ive got it all down now.

i hear alumahyde 2 is pretty good,too

So, what is the best way to clean a barrel after firing corrosive ammo?

I use Shooter's Choice Black Powder Cleaning Gel. Though I don't shoot corrosive that often.
