I'm really not that scary :twofinger

Although I do own a $900 sword - which is actually fairly cheap as far as decent swords go....

What are you carrying for? If it's people just carry one. You can hold 15 rounds in the thing for cripes sake.

No, no, he said condition one or two, not how many mags!

I'd go for condition one, because it'd be too difficult to rack the slide while riding, unless you're doing a jump, then you can do a superman no-hands, rack the slide, and then start shooting when you land. :cool
Just make sure you get a left-hand holster, so you can draw and shoot without letting go of the throttle.

Yeah, I figure all the forest critters will more or less leave me alone when they hear the cacophony that is the XR650R with a Big Gun exhaust system. :teeth

Loud pipes save lives. :cool

what sort of sword?

i think a 357 mag semiauto is a little big and 357 sig is a little bit too much of a premium just to get 40 smith velocity with the same cal. and 9 hydras do juust fine.

You carry a .357 semi auto around on a daily basis? 9mm is plenty

Those nice handguns. Man, that S&W500 with the 4" barrel was something else I'll tell ya.

It was funny how that 4" S&W dominated the table like a woman's cleavage. All those flat black firearms around one huge shiny cylinder.

I got to confirm that I like the G19 more than any other polymer 9mm... tried a P99, USP 9, and ... uh, something else, can't remember what the other was. But the grip and feel of the G19 fit me best.

But I also discovered that the Hi-Power fits me quite well, too. :teeth

Oh yeah, the other was an XD 9mm. It felt way different than it looked - the grip safety just melted into the grip, and the trigger safety was OK. It was just a funny shape, and the high slide recoiled more than the G19.

And Ratters - did you notice your sig is missing a grip screw?

That's why I like my CZ75 :teeth Plus, the slide rides an inside rail, so there's no serrations for the slide stop or anything on the outside. Looks all clean-like. I love this gun. More than some of my family members

I love it - it balances on my finger about 2inches from the tsuba. I haven't handled a better balanced sword yet.

Someday I will go custom, but man, those are big bucks...

Hwa Rang Do - it's not in the area yet (we started out in WI), but there's an instructor who's working with us one-on-one who's out in Turloc. Someday we'll get a school started up here :) It's actually based outta Downey, CA, but for some reason hasn't moved to the bay area yet.
