BARF Militia

A Lakeside man stepped outside to see a woman spinning brodies in his yard. When she pointed the car in his direction, he whipped out his gun and shot out one of the tires. The woman took off on the flat tire, but was soon pulled over after first refusing to stop. She was eventually taken to a mental health facility.

A section in our local police blotter. I love living back in montana.

arfcom classifies would be the most likely place to find cheap used parts online.

I just measured mine- 0.169" which doesnt work out to any whole millimeters or nice fractions. Nearest fraction is 11/64" at 0.1719" which is probably within the error of my crappy calipers. Check at a bolt and plumbing store. You can buy aluminum tube used for brake lines and such.

Edit- del-ton has them for $11 under Barrel Parts -> Small Parts

MA had them for $10, and better shipping. Thanks for your work though! Your crappy calipers are pretty acurate. I called another friend who measured his at 0.171" Which apparently the spec is 0.168" - 0.173". :thumbup

If you in the service, *Military* shoot me a PM and give me your work email, must me a .mil addy and I will send you a link so you can get the price's and set up for ordering, if you active duty Leopold is offering Huge discounts on their gear. scopes, spotting equipment ect.

My next pistola is going to be a Ruger Mk III with a 5.5" bull barrel. :thumbup

I don't like the Mk III because they have a magazine safety - can't shoot if the magazine is removed. Just a personal preference thing.

Who knew a rainy night could be so fun. :teeth

I don't see any root beer in that picture, son. What's Ratters teaching you? :wtf

jeebus ratters...the damn thing nearly hit your face a few times!

now thats KICK!

Hey Ratters - I just checked your Photobucket link. How'd you break your tibia and fibula? It looks very close to a break I suffered about 20 years ago. "Butterfly fracture"? Mine was a little higher and the doc didn't install a plate on the fibula. The fractures look very similar though. The bummer is I've only set off one metal detector in an airport; that was in Frankfurt 9 years ago. I've given up waiting for the detectors to go off:cry
