BARF Militia

Actually, if you live in the mountain areas or somewhere like Ukiah you can get ccw pretty easily. God forbid that you can get one if you live in an area where you need it though. A lot of people are getting out of state ones in places like Utah, Oklahoma, and Florida that have reciprocity. I never travel so it would be pretty useless.

Picked it up on Friday, can't wait to fill it, and then the washing machine, full of lead!

Why settle for six shots when you can get 8? :confused

zefflyn- Those Performance Center .357s are damn sweet. But if you are going with that large of a frame, you should go big bore. ;) OK, maybe I'm just jealous. :)

It's just an L frame, not that big... :teeth

The good thing about the frame size is that they're able to put so many holes in the cylinder. And the action is so darn smooth!

I thought the 8 shots were on the "N" frame. My bad. Those PS guns have a great action. Still not a 1911 though. :teeth

Depends on the state, but in most cases not at all. Most states let you sell to another person without any paperwork whatsoever.

So I busted out the Canon A75 and took some pics of the M44 :teeth

I like how a 60 year old rifle can look that good

I really liked this next shot...I forgot to put all my accessories out to make it look more authentic,
but it kinda has the aura of the night when a soldier goes to the front line....

...His trusty винтовка lies on the bed in the moonlight, unassuming, indiscriminating of the men
she will send to hell, and the mothers she will plunge into sorrow.

The soldier kisses his wife goodbye, promises he will return to her soon, collects his gear
and walks through the door to be swallowed by the frigid night.

Yeah...I liked this picture so much that I used photoshop to make it look a little more impressionist
, even though the French impressionists would not consider a rifle and ammo a worthy subject, I decided to go ahead and use dry brush to kinda make
it more interesting to look at, and I must say, I reached the desired effect:

Where'ed you get that sissy purple beadspread?:laughing:twofinger

I'm staying in the guest room at my parents' house while in SJ, my mom chose to decorate in earth tones and wine colors....my room in Davis is quite more gangsta, with its cool German flag and birch Ikea furniture :laughing

Cool pics.

I did the paperwork on my SKS (FINALLY!) on Saturday so I pick it up in two weeks. I'll post pics then. Final cost was $187.54 OTD. It wasn't the unissued we were supposed to get but it is "excellent". Wood was a little rough but almost no dings. Metal was black and perfect, minus all the cosmoline I gotta clean off. Mine has the sleeve over the grenade launcher. I like that look better than the muzzle brake, though it sucks it just can't be in its natural state.

BTW, Traders has them in good/vg condition for $129 right now.
