Jesus. Someone needs to teach her firearm safety. I was cringing the whole time she had her finger on the trigger while examining the gun pointing it this way and that way. :wow

I introduce friends all the time to shooting and I'm a stickler for safety. I'm sure my friends hate it but I drill into them gun safety over and over and over again. I've been swept by a loaded firearm before and it is NOT fun.

Now, for the husband pulling the firecracker joke... I have to admit (being not the target of said joke) it was funny but if it was me, he'd probably have lost a testicle or two for that. :teeth

The Clip speed loader is the Shiznit. The spring on the clip is strong, a real workout on the thump.

For clips without the knob like MK I. There is a gadget that hooks the top part of the clip. Plastic thumb rest is pushed down and latches at bottom of the clip. Then load the shells in by hand while the gadget holds the spring down.

As per my prior post, one day when I'm rich and famous I'll own a lefty bolt action.

No disadvantages for me, only for righties trying to use it. They would need to learn to adapt like I did. :teeth

The advantage for me is that bolt cycling on the rifle is faster, since I don't need to rotate the rifle to get to the bolt handle.

Oh, there is one disadvantage: The fookin' price!!! :wow

Those things were bank last time I priced one.
