Qestion to skit, trap gurus.

I am getting a 28'' barrel for clays. Don't realy want to buy bunch of different choke tubes.
This is from Mossberg

Accu-Choke™ Tubes
(Maverick 88™ and Mossberg® 500®)

Ga. Choke Item # S/R$
12 Full 95190 $16.54
12 Modified 95195 $16.54
12 Imp. Cylinder 95200 $16.54
12 Skeet 95235 $16.54
12 XX-Full 670 Turkey 95267 $28.66
12 Imp. Modified 95245 $15

So, is Skeet choke would be OK? What is a difference?

Well, for trap you want a more full choke depending upon distance, and for skeet you want a more open choke. What choke tubes does the gun come with? They usually come with three or four. Just use the full or modified at trap depending upon the distance and use your IC for skeet.

My gun didn't come with any chokes. It is a Mossy 500 HD with 20'' barrel.
That's why I'm getting a 28'' barell. Not sure if it comes with chokes, most likely not. Hence the reason for my question.

If I understand it correctly I'll be shooting trap. Most likely at Los Altos G&R club.

Make sure the barrel takes adjustable chokes. You should see if there's a package deal with the chokes. But for starting out it really doesn't matter quite so much. Just get out there and practice. ;)

Thanks,:laughing "Maynard".

45acp 155gr lswc source?

Anyone know who carries the above bullet any more? I'm using up the last of my Bear Creek (now defunct) moly coated stash and need to replenish it. I don't care if they're moly coated or not, and they can be copper plated a la Rainier Bullets.

Sucks because I came up with a great shooting load with them!

Thanks!

hrm... which to go with is the question?

prince50 mag lock : http://www.riflegear.com/p-57-prince50-mag-lock-kit.aspx

or bulletbutton :http://www.riflegear.com/p-193-bullet-button-bullet-tool-combo.aspx

With the bullet button, a pin or punch is required. Whereas with the prince50 you need that allen wrench, except you can still use the prince50 like a normal mag release button if you leave the screw turned the other way :) Im leaning towards the prince50.

Back side of a cuff works on the bullet button, shit even a thin pen will work. If you get the bullet button, Habor Fright had a security screwdriver set that works good on the locking screw. Just don't lock-tite it, made mine a pain in the ass to take off.

makes me want an AK even more :( *want the one exactly pictured*

Looks just like mine, without the tool thing:p

:cry damn you Windy...!!!!

:cry :twofinger :p

Anyone looking for .44 mag ammo? I've got 4 boxes (200 rounds) of Miwall and Load-X reloads, 240 grain, semi-wadcutters. Looking to get $20 a box, but open to offers.
