UHm... 5909 ? Sure it's not a 5906?

Either way, depending on condition... $250-450.

If this is a repost, just ignore.

Would you spend $500 plus on this .22 LR rifle?

I was wondering that same question. I saw the news of it in all the SHOT show coverage... I don't think I'd go for it. I prefer my .22s to be more purpose-built and just the right size for a .22, rather than hugely oversized in the action and magazines.

Shooting half the day and then again half the nite. In pain. Wrist hurts. Hot tea tastes good.

Gonna do it all over again tomorrow :troy :laughing

Fuck the superbowl anyway.

Al~Immagettinold.......

I dunno, Al. Having pain when shooting seems a sure way of ruining one's grip and aim. Sounds like you're adding unwanted demands to your hand muscles as well as tensing your mind. If shooting a handgun well necessitates having a relaxed trigger finger and gunholding grip, and not thinking about or feeling pain, maybe you're overdoing it a bit?

Also USI's Larry recommended that whenever I go to the range, that I spend no more than 45 minutes shooting. And to take my time in between shots. If precision is my goal. But I kinda overdid it during last week's BARF Militia shoot at USI, 'cuz I shot about 20 rounds of .45, 40 rounds of 5.7, and :laughing maybe 150 rounds of .22 ammo. Still got to chat with Edgar and Larry a couple of times, and even got Edgar to sight my 5.7. Not to mention I compared notes about left-handed gripping with Edgar and another serious and very precise shooter, both southpaws as well.

Don't mean to preach. But for me shooting at Bullseye is for fun. USI is for honing my nascent handgun skills. :)

I burned through a couple hundred rounds at USI today. All .22 lr at 25, 50, and 100 yards. I really need to practice my 100 yard shooting though.

Yvonne...ain't no pain when shooting. It's when i get home that hurts. My whole body hurts from standing so much. It's worth it though as i've found that when i don't shoot regularly, i lose the thought process that goes along with it.
That's the nice part about USI......half the time is spent BSing with everybody else.
BTW......only took me about 10 minutes to strip and clean the Kimber this time, unlike the last time, if you remember. Fucking spring....:nerd

Al

:laughing

Yeah, that double-ringed part of the spring probably belongs against that whatchamacallit and not under the collet!

OK, then. "Dr. Y" suggests soaking the body in a tub of hot water (Epsom salts up to you)!
