You guys think its a waste of $20 for a 33rd aftermarket 33rd magazine?

I'm about to buy two 15rd KCI 9mm magazines and thought the 33rd would be fun but just as I was about to checkout I thought maybe the 33rd mag is a waste and I should get another 15rd mag.

Are you an LEO? You do know that regular folk are restricted to 10rd mags right?

You need to read up on Kalifornia gun laws before you do something not realy smart.

Johnny Law wouldn't have to ask. Besides the fact that they likely won't ship to Kalif, with no cert faxed it's a mute point.

Meant this for Dubbington....

The 15rd mags look just like the 10rd. I can see how the 33rd mag is a bad idea but the 15rd....If I bring those to a range whats the worst that can happen? I seriously asking because they look identical.

They are illegal for you to have.

weak!!! Just did some googling. Wonder if there is a way to mod the 10rd mag to hold 15.

California
California law prohibits anybody from manufacturing, importing, keeping for sale, offering or exposing for sale, giving, or lending any large capacity magazine. What is “large capacity magazine”? California defines “large capacity magazine” as any feeding device with the
capacity to accept more than ten rounds, but does not include any .22 caliber tube ammunition feeding device.

California Penal Code12020-12040 clearly states…

12020. (a) Any person in this state who does any of the following is punishable by imprisonment in a county jail not exceeding one
year or in the state prison:

(2) Commencing January 1, 2000, manufactures or causes to be manufactured, imports into the state, keeps for sale, or offers or exposes
for sale, or who gives, or lends, any large capacity magazine.

If you get caught they will come and confiscate all of your guns on top of fining you and throwing you in jail and not letting you ever own another firearm. Is that worth being able to hold 5 more rounds in your magazine? I don't think so. :2cents

I just picked up two boxes, 100ea, of FMJ Winchester .45 ACP at Walmart for $31/box. I also picked up a 100 rds of 40 S&W for $27 and two boxes, 15ea, of 3" magnum 00 buck shot for about $12/box. Oh, I forgot to mention the Walmart is in Cleburn Texas. :p

I'm on a business trip here and stopped in the local Walmart to see if they might have some ammo for cheap. Lucky for me they did but the sales person told me I'm lucky they had any because it usually sells as soon as they get it. He said the shipment just came in and he hadn't even put it on the shelf yet. It looks like this ammo shortage is across the whole U.S.

Yeah, all it is is supply and demand. It's not local to us.

Your picture is a Glock 24C. It's longer than a 35 and it has a ported barrel, unlike the 35. The 35 has a longer barrel (compared to a 22) with lightened slide but does not have a compensator or ports.

thats funny i actually posted a pic of the 35 and the other one came up instead:wtf

and your right i meant ported slide not compensated, but IMO still a better gun then the 22:teeth

Yeah, so? He was "disqualified" from owning firearms, whoopee.

The Law prevented him from obtaining or possessing firearms, just as The Law prevented him from murdering people.

Hey, since this thing isn't a firearm, think it's legal to put on an off-list lower? Wouldn't that be ironic? :D

Cool, but I wouldn't want to shoot it. Just imagine the recoil.

Yeah, the 18-incher would suck, but the 29" wouldn't be bad. A good muzzle break makes a world of difference.

It'd be awesome, though, if after all the stupid AW and anti-.50 Cal laws, you can still buy an off-list lower and stick a .50 BMG upper on it.

It's a bolt action. Should be fine.

I don't see bolt actions being excused in PC12280 that I linked to above. I understand that a bolt action makes it not an assault weapon, but the law specifically says multiple times "assault weapon OR 50 BMG rifle.

Still, even though I'm arguing the other side, I do like your interpretation better! :teeth
