I wish I'd bought a Merkel double-rifle from him way back when he first told me about them. They've almost doubled in price since then. But on the other hand, since I don't hunt, it would have been a VERY expensive plinker.

Anyone know where I can pick up a Noveske stripped AR lower?

SJ Gun Exchange stocks only High Standard at the moment and I'm not thrilled with the quality of their appearance.
 
After shooting a match Sunday I cleaned my Limited gun for the first time in a couple years. I used my Harbor Freight parts washer with a variation of Ed's Red bore cleaner (mineral spirits, K1 kerosene, and Dextron ATF). Best gun cleaning system ever! (Because I haven't seen an ultrasound cleaner big enough.)

A motorist fatally shot by police in a gunfight near the U.S. Capitol late Wednesday afternoon had a record of arrests on drug and assault charges and was armed with a compact, pistol-like assault weapon capable of rapid fire, authorities said yesterday.

D.C. police identified the dead man as Kellen Anthony White, 27, whose last known address was in the Brandywine area of Prince George's County. A police official, speaking on condition of anonymity because the investigation is continuing, said White had "a lengthy record" of arrests and was carrying a weapon known as a MAC-11.

So, 2 weeks ago, my buddy took me to the Livermore range and I fired a rifle for the first time (well, first time for ANY 'tool'). I shot his AR15. Took 7 shots, 6 in the black and 1 in the bullseye. Not bad considering both his sites were off. Then, I shot his Remington 700. Took 2 shots, both in the bullseye. :toothless
Needless to say, I went and bought my first 'tool'. I am building an AR15. Waiting period on the lower is over, so I will be heading to Irvington Arms on Tues to pick it up. I'm looking for the rest of the bits, but have to piece it together since I am limited on funds. If you guys come across any good deal, let me know! My buddy has a rail he is going to give me if he can find it.

Dude! How long ago did you get rid of the BMW for that SV650? How many bikes have you had now? Ninja 900, TL1000, BMW r1100s... what else?

Think you'll stick with that SV very long?

CB750, ZX9R, SV650, TL1000S, R1100S, SV650, and the SV is gone already, so no. :laughing I'm not much of a rider these days, what between work, Army Reserve, etc. Not enough hours in the week.
