You still looking to play BF4 on PC?

Looks like I may need to up my graphics card :(

Well dang. I was thinking my 7870 would be enough for my new PC I build in a couple months. But it only has 2gb of VRAM.

Bleh. Gonna stick with it and see how well the frames are as is. Hopefully the 4770k and 16gb I go with makes up for a lot.

As often as I can, 3 maybe 4 times a week. Same user name. Add me as a friend.

I'm usually playing in EXE Air Division or EXE Drunk Division. :laughing

Will do. I just recently discovered how ridiculously powerful the Heavy rocket launcher is. :laughing

I think you're good to go. My GPU is under the recommended spec for Battlefield 3 and I've been fairly happy with the results. Personally, I'm also going to say fuck Windows 8.

One of these is exaggerated. One is actual gameplay.

I just shake my head and :facepalm every time I hear someone say how much more realistic Battlefield is over COD because it has bullet drop for sniping.

I hate Win8 so very very much. The Surface Pro I use at the shop was exactly what that stupid OS was designed for, and I found myself just dumping as many of the "tiles" as possible. And even then I just go straight to the desktop and use it like older Windows...except it's now a hassle to get the start menu up.

Don't forget shit like ejecting from a plane, RPGing the plane that was following you, then freefall and just get right in a teammate's little bird that was flying below.

Seems legit.

Realistic? Arma3 is pretty damn close.

Just wanted to share this with you guys, as I remembered it from a while back and shared it with a CoolerMaster rep on the OC forum.

Pretty spectacular build here. If anyone wants to build a new computer and needs/wants help, I enjoy building them and helping choose components and such. The CM rep is asking for ideas/advice on a new mini-ITX case they're developing, getting a feel for what people think they need in a small case. Instead of trying to design one that does everything well, I think they should design a couple cases that go balls out towards one thing or another - ie, mini-ITX case designed specifically for water cooling to the point they maybe include a custom WC setup with the case, ready to go for your board and card. If they did that, they could REALLY cut down on size and cram stuff in there.

Wow that sure packed a lot into that little case!

I'm almost certain I'm gonna go with the Corsair Air 540. It's pretty massive and not the usual form for a full sizer, but I don't have any size restraints where my rig is. I don't like the idea of packing everything so close together...just can't be good for keeping the heat down.

Only thing I am really uncertain of is what I want to use for the motherboard. But I won't invest too much time researching that till I get closer to actually buying everything since all these components get obsolete so fast.

Whoever did that did a super clean job. The inside of my computer case looks like a mess haha. I'm +1 on mid-size towers. I specifically chose my case for sound insulation.

How much do you care about overclocking? Personally, I don't care for it. If you're the same, buy a reliable name with good features and be done with it. I just looked for one that's a) reasonable price b) good sound features c) good number of USB ports (2.0 and 3.0)

Battlefield 4 Digital Download for $45
Battlefield 4 Premium for $38

Initially, I'm not gonna bother with overclocking. But I might in a year just to keep the thing somewhat state of the art. I plan to build it with a Corsair H80i water cooler from day 1 so I know the 4770k will handle the extra juice.

That is why I'm gonna have a much better chance of actually playing the campaign of GTA5 versus even starting another COD campaign. Never even attempted the Black Ops 2 single player and I'm not entirely sure if I ever even started MW3 either.

The hour is almost upon us. And I fuggin didn't pre order it anywhere. Hopefully I can just walk in and get it somewhere.

Tuesdays I have the full crew at the shop so hopefully it's slow and I don't have to babysit any of the apprentices so I can GTFO early and get into beating down some bitches.
