Holy crap, looks amazing. I had no idea.

My biggest worry is the last Ubisoft published Tom Clancy game had a pretty broken multiplayer experience.

But damn does that little amount of footage from The Division sure paint a great picture for that game.

Reading number of people buying Titanfall using Mexico VPN and only paying like $35 for preorder, and like $50 for deluxe edition

Yes, the campaign is pretty important to me, multi not so much. I keep going back to MW3 to play crouch servers. So if The Division doesn't have or doesn't have a good campaign, I probably won't buy it.

Man did EA just dick the gaming community again. They said there would be no pay DLC for TitanFall and yesterday they just said there are 3 10 dollar DLC packs coming out. The people that paid 250.00 for the limited edition game don't even get the DLC.

BTW Titanfall is going to be fun for a week and then get very, very boring.

So lets say I wanted to mount a 42" LED 1080p TV in front of my desk to use for gaming. Good idea, bad idea? If the TV is rated at 1920x1080 which my graphics card already does on my 27" Monitor, am I in for a surprise with the lower refresh rate of the TV? I'd rather avoid buying a new TV, only to find I am less than satisfied.

The refresh rate is going to be the same or better on the TV. They all usually refresh at 60Hz but a lot of TVs now will do 120 or 240Hz. Or did you mean something else?

Speaking of master race PC games...I think one you should all get excited about is called Star Citizen. It's being developed by a guy named Chris Roberts. Who's that? A guy who gave us a legendary PC game many many moons ago called Wing Commander.

Is that still in the crowd funding stage or are they actually developing it? last I heard they were still developing the starship dock/configurator although the last time I looked it was awhile ago.

NO, pretty sure that's what I was thinking of. One of the cheaper TVs I was looking at has a refresh of 60Hz. Now to just figure out if it has a VGA input or not.
Maybe I'll scour CL and pick something up used.

I used a 46" LCD for a gaming monitor for quite some time. The real kicker to look for isn't the refresh, but the response time. (milliseconds)

so titanfall is fun as hell

+1 I'm having a blast. Still trying to get used to the parkour-like movements

The content for weapons/maps/game modes is certainly lacking. For those used to and looking for a plethora of options found in newer CODs and BFs may be disappointed. Think more along the lines of MW1 or Halo.

Anyone know if you can cross-platform between X1 and 360? I know you definitely can't play with PC players.

I'd say nothing is lacking in the weapons department. Why have 80 guns when you only like 6 of them? Why not just have 6 good ones? :thumbup

Ok, playing Titanfall for PC. Somebody please school me on why I'm so far behind in each game. I am at level 14, but I can only muster one or two pilot and one of two titan kills each round. I am playing Classic Attrition. What weapons should I be hoping for, how is it I'm having such a hard time with pilot on pilot kills. Are these guys just way to clever at run and gun crap? Maybe I just don't know the maps well enough yet. Its only been a couple days playing. It is fun though.
