Hi Nerds,

I miss playing COD with you guys!

Also, so I got the 2 new systems, Xbox and PS, honestly, it's not the much better than the ones we all currently have. Plus there's not a whole lot of games.

I'm just waiting for TITAN FALL.

Hopefully, we can all go back to the golden age of BARFTRON circa 2009. lol
 
No kidding. I used to enjoy playing with the crew but I couldn't keep buying the new game every month. Titan fall looks pretty good.
 
Yup. Titanfall is what'll get me into the new system. Was tempted to do it for BF4, but I guess it's good enough on the old 360 for now

Yeah just wait for it, Rob. BF4 is practically the same on the 360.

My new gaming systems are just collecting dust right now.

Doesn't BF4 on the new systems have 64 man servers just like PC? Plus BF4 on 360 has the Second Assault maps which are a bunch of BF3 maps that I'd live to play on BF4.

played the titanfall beta for about 20 mins before turning it off. can't imagine this game could be an anchor game for a new system. Im playing on pc and the graphics are pretty blah for a next gen game.:|
 
I've watched quite a few videos on it. It seriously looks like Halo with mechs. Granted, the beta has only two maps and limited weapons, but if I had a choice of Titanfall or Battlefield, I'd go with BF4 and be good.

Ooo and some maps and stuff come out for BF4 tomorrow. Second Assault has a bunch of maps from BF3, including the very popular Operation Metro.

2. Diminishing returns. At what point do you suck up processing power to make individual items insanely detailed, vs using that processing power to making things "only" really well detailed but with massively improved draw distances with more people fighting simultaneously with more stuff happening all around?

Graphics ain't everything, o glorious master PC gaming race person. :laughing

not a pc person myself, but with that said i just built a low budget gaming rig with an AMD APU and it handles titanfall really well on high settings. I guess i am just not into the FPS style games as i used to be. I was expecting more from the game that would sell the new system. I love the hell out of my 360 and even that has had less use lately.
I am stoked about the new infamous for ps4 and sunset overdrive for xbox1. will wait a while though to see if the new systems really are worth the money.

I do agree though graphics are not everything, i still play the hell out of shadow of the colossus. :thumbup
 
signed up for titanfall beta on pc and got in! except they gave me an xbone beta ticket... so fuck it.

game looks ok, but FPS is getting out of style pretty quickly

if you have origin installed on your pc just go to the my games section and it should show up there.:thumbup

I just downloaded the Titanfall BETA!!! on XBOX One!

I'm liking it a lot. Reminds me of MW2!

I'll be playing it all nite. Haven't been this compelled to play all night since...well, MW2

I can see ROB SJ dominating on this game.. KEith and Shades too , of course.
 
Fitting that it's like MW2. Since the developer of Titanfall was founded by the same guys that gave us MW2 at Infinity Ward.


Speaking of master race PC games...I think one you should all get excited about is called Star Citizen. It's being developed by a guy named Chris Roberts. Who's that? A guy who gave us a legendary PC game many many moons ago called Wing Commander.

on a whim, i opened origin and you're right, it was there. played a few hours today, seems cool but definitely doesnt seem optimized for pc, which is odd since isn't it based off source engine? lots of lag and stutter
 
Second Assault maps on BF4 are cool for the most part. If you remember them from BF3, you'll be happiest with Operation Firestorm. Seems most like the original. Gulf of Oman is stupid now. The "levolution" event is a sand fuck storm that just ruins visibility for the rest of the match. I was in a plane and the storm hit. Couldn't find friggin anyone even though they were supposedly right in front of me on my air radar.
 
titanfall coming out on XB360 too, a week after the xbox one release.

I take it back Rob, no need to buy an XBOX one yet. Save your money ...lol
 
Tom Clancy's The Division is going to be my breaking point if I don't already have an Xbone yet. For. Sure. I am gonna get The Division.

Titanfall...I wanna see more footage than the limited content of the beta before I really make the call on that one I think.
