BARFTRON HOMEBASE

Looks a lot like Borderlands and Halo had a baby. That about sum it up?
 
Yup. Borderlands x Halo is the best way to describe it. It's not mind blowing good, but it's not a bad game. It's definitely better than Titanfall.

PvE is pretty standard. Story line is pretty weak, gameplay is about expected. Lack of mini-map in roam mode is annoying.

PvP is fun, but the mode selection is mediocre. If all you care about is TDM and Domination, then you might be ok. Radar system takes some getting used to and will ultimately affect the way you play.

I'm not that far, only lvl12, so I don't know what it'll be like with an additional subclass. I'm hoping for a little more depth.
 
Just in case anybody here cares...MotoGP 14 for XBOX 360 is going to be released on November 4th in the US.

Pretty much.

I am having a lot of fun playin co-op with my brothers.
You can only do 3 on co-op, wish you could go at least 4.

Haven't played MP just yet. I tried it once and got smoked. Have to get used to the jumping and shit.
 
I'm really loving Snipe Elite III on my PC.
I am unfortunately playing for like 3-4 hours at a time.
 
I gave in and picked it up on PC.
I needed something to play and far cry 4 isn't out. Only played a couple hours last night. I tried out clap trap a bit and seemed fun. Doesn't seem as funny as borderlands 2 was. I'm going to give willhelm a try tonight.
 
I'm not gonna bother with Advanced Warfare. Not sure what I'll be getting once it comes out and the Ghosts population drops though. Might go back to single player stuff at that point, or racing games.
 
I can't find a damn thing that's remotely interesting enough to keep my (very limited) attention these days.

Same. Although, after watching more vids of the vertical aspects of Advanced Warfare, if I remove myself from the fact that it's supposed to be some kind of futuristic army and think of it as the next iteration of Unreal....it suddenly seems more interesting. One thing I liked about games like UT2k4 was the vertical action in addition to the horizontal. The COD series is more or less a very flat style of game play. Battlefield gets vertical, but mainly with vehicles - not as much infantry-only combat where you're shooting from or at rooftops or water towers etc compared to if someone flew up there with a helicopter and bailed out just for a sniping point.
 
yea im through with the COD franchise as well. too redundant and advanced warfare looks pretty terrible. especially the whole super jumpy thing. its like they finally gave up on the PC players hacking the game and just included the hacks in it. lame.

id like to make the switch to ps4 if the division would come out, but im not holding my breath when they say "release date in mid 2015" pffft
 
The new borderlands has plenty of verticality.
I'm looking forward to get some time in once I'm back from doing some traveling for business.
