Putting an end to a mild annoyance before it turns into a major catastrophe with fatal results does not seem like time wasted.

I hope that you are right and I am wrong about this. But I have to go with my focus on my skills.

I had a long winded post, but it wasn't ready, and I had to go outside for a minute, and a skunk walked across my feet...I'm going to go see if I can get the smell off me...:rolleyes

BTW, I felt bad that I slacked off on BARF reading that day you needed the belly pan, as soon as I saw the thread I was ready to go if nobody else had jumped in, but I was hours too late...I love a real road trip "mission".

You (the crew, or whatever) should watch a few shows of 'Trauma: Life in the ER' each month just to have a bit of reality here and there.

That show gives us a great opportunity: it reminds us how fragile we are, and racing on the street can put you or someone else either in the ER or straight to a body bag.

If you cross over onto oncoming traffic you are not in control. Whether you crash or not. You are suppose to stay on your own side of the road.
I was wondering because otherwise, looking at that type of article people can assume something like "oh, it says he 'lost control', so he must have hit a banana peel and that's why the crash happened". That is a world apart from somebody just dorking around across the DY thinking they are in perfect control up until the instant that hammer comes down. I'm with you, crossing the DY qualifies as "lost control" by definition, period.

nothing happened. no ones perfect!
:wow .....Nothing happened?

Okay, how about I run up and down the sidewalk with a blindfold on, firing a shotgun in random directions, and a round of buck passes within 6" of your face. I guess you'd shrug that right off wouldn't you? It's nothing. Nothing at all. How about I spin up a single bullet in a revolver, point it between your eyes, and pull the trigger... and it doesn't go off. No harm done, right? It's nothing!

If you don't want to pay $300 for a trackday, how are you going to pay someone's medical bills? How do you pay someone back for the loss of a mother, father, child? Do you have ANY grasp of reality at all?? You may be comfortable with the odds you're gambling, but we aren't.

Get this straight, assholes-- if you're going to play Russian Roulette, point the gun at your own face, and NOT MINE.

I wonder if Divz, and his asstard friends realize.

Did you know: In a crime, such as crossing a double yellow, while video tape'd on your own camera. The film can be used against you, in a trial.

And thanks to california's new "anti - street racing" crack downs, and subsequently increased punishment. Did you know that the "completely innocent PASSENGERS" in your vehicle can and most likely WILL be charged with a misdemeanor crime ? While you CAN be heald to felony reckless endangerment?

Good luck, I hope common sense catches up with you before the LEO's or Darwin does. Even though, deep down I know the statistics. Enjoy what's left of what will be a short life, if the odds play out like usual.

FWIW: I did the same shit you guys did, but out in the boondocks of the central valley. Closest "living" thing to kill out there was 4 foot'd wild life. Luckily all it took for me was a destroyed fascia and 1 dead fox, to realize a track is a shit load safer, and won't result in JAIL TIME.

Dear Divine Fucktard and Sycophant Numb Nuts Friends:

You want our approval? Go turn yourselves in to the nearest police department or drive off a cliff.

Divine crew. Why don't you all man it up and just admit that your boy was in the wrong. All you're doing by continuing to squawk and snivel about it here is to piss folks off further , can't defend the indefensible ya know?

As it is you've quite likely got half the motorcyclists in the East Bay looking out for you , some of them not nearly as nice of folks as the O.P. think about that and the possible consequences involved , and no that doesn't make those possible consequences *right* , but it also won't make them any less painful if y'all do the same thing over again to somebody who takes a bit more real world exception to being put in that sort of situation. Have enough common sense and cojones to just say he/we were wrong and let it go.

Good judgement is developed by exercising bad judgement and living through the consequences and learning from it , no?

wow so luck means that its his responsiblity? i was simply saying im glad the OP could avoid my friends driving.. never said it was his responsbility to be able to...like i said i cant make him do shit .. you cant make anyone do something ..

I didn't realize we were trying to get you, to get him, to do anything. We were trying to get you to look at your friend constructively. Look at him honestly.

Do us a favor, pull your head out of your arse, and realize your buddy is a incompetent driver/retard!

Not much can help you or your "crew"... which one are you anyway?

Someone should run an IP trace on these two ass clowns and post addresses!

I am on the look out and am looking forward to publicly shamming this "crew" at the Starbucks. :laughing

I was following this on my phone, so I was limited on my posting ability. I came in here to post a reply to DC*sk8er's first post but I think we are long past it and most the things I was going to say have been said.

But, seriously, was I the only one who read his name as "Dick Sucker" at first?

I nominate this for TOTY!!!

On a serious note though...

It is dangerous enough for us out there why do ass-hats like these people go out of their way to make it worse for us? I realize what I do has it's dangers, I accept them. But I do go out of my way to reduce them! Thus calling you and your crew out is our way of minimizing the danger. I now know that if I see a silver Z with matching plates to pull off and let you go by... or kick the shit out of your side panels with my magnesium toe sliders...

I had the "joy" of sitting in a hospital room with an incredibly adorable girl who had some young idiot pull a stupid move in front of her! Can you or your friends handle the idea that you have seriously injured someone? I can almost promise you that the kid who did this is questioning his future right now.

For a fact, I can tell you that the woman that hit me.... her life is not that great right now! Do you really think her insurance company paid for everything.... including the civil lawsuit that followed? Or the idea that her 5 year old child in the backseat screamed out, for what I felt was forever, MOMMY YOU KILLED THAT MOTORCYCLE!!! So her retarded-ness did affect more than her and myself, it affected both children in the backseat!

Wow - My first post on BARF! Should be okay since I grew up in the Bay Area.

Hey Divz - Congratulations on your internerd martyrdom. You've now made bike forums across the country. How cool is that! You can meet and apologize to the OP or anyone else but sorry to tell you - you're now on the hook worldwide.

I just had to join BARF to subscribe to this epic thread and see what happens.

Greetings from the Rocky Mountains.

Well, if you learned to type, spell or punctuate (or apply logic, rationality or abstract thought), we would not have these little communication break-downs.
