To me, he seemed sincere with his apology and I believe he will think twice before double laning again. I am on Redwood every day and I have never seen him. I have seen countless other vehicles in my lane around turns a few being other motorcyclists. I don't see any of those people trying to apologize. So I have to have some respect for Masaki. I just hope he and other people reading this thread who may ride/drive like this rethink their poor decisions.

I'm not basing this on ONE person's actions. There are dozens of videos on YouTube (or, at least there were until this week--lol) of the whole Divine crew driving like jackasses on public roads. They incriminated themselves. So, in that respect, the group's actions speak for the group.
lastly this should really be between just the op and saki but , like any good friend would do I'm defending a friend.. NOT his actions just the fact that people are talking as if they know him .. feel free to flame although im sure you have stood up for a friend
I would agree with you if it weren't for the fact that other people use that stretch of road other than the OP and Saki. I would definitely defend any of my friends... if I were certain they were in the right. Look, I was one of the people giving this guy the benefit of the doubt to begin with (see my initial response to his apology)...then he went and proceeded to act like an ass.
I know he feels bad about it, but I'm just not thoroughly convinced he's going to stop doing what he's doing. The aftermath of his apology just sounded like a lot of him trying to justify his actions. Not an attempt to circumvent them from reoccurring.

The BARF community is self policing. As a group, we don't tolerate motorcyclists endangering the lives of others any more than we tolerate car drivers endangering the lives of others.
