Yeah you're right. I just hope some of these kids will learn something , I may argue at them here but I'd really hate to read another news story like the one that ruined Industrial blvd in Hayward a few years back , ironically that one was a Mustang too , and took some innocent bystanders with him.

It's a shame , but it'll happen again sooner or later.

I found this really nice round polished skipping stone I was going to throw but it had some kind of glue that fastened it to my hand. I just couldn't throw it.

After a few days I kind of got used to having it in my hand, it even came in handy when I needed to hammer something or open a walnut. I almost hit someone with the stone playing volleyball in the park and apologized profusely and really meant it but didn't understand why they insisted
that I sit out the rest of the game.

I had got so used to having the stone, and the benefits that it held, that I couldn't understand why they wouldn't let me play. The other players and the ball itself often caused injuries--why, sometimes someone twisted an ankle all on their own, without anyone's help. I took my stone and left.


Time passed and I had forgotten why I had picked the rock up. One winter, walking near a frozen pond, I remembered and tried to throw the stone from my hand and it flew across the pond and skidded into a log, creating a loud "BOOM!' This boom created an avalanche above the valley on the ridge which swept down through the trees and buried me under a mound of snow.

No one came to look for me and so I lay face down in the cold and thought: "I'll never do that again!"

Nice little parable there.........

And in all seriousness , get it off the street , it will lead to trouble , I never really got into trouble on the street but I know a hell of a lot of folks who did and it's not worth it. Not even when you're running for money.

Why do i care about police outside of gates? Because they're dicks. They write people tickets for illegally modified cars. After seeing this and even getting pulled over with a "this is your lucky day" statement (for going 4mph over the speed limit and modified exhaust ) i won't goto infineon unless it's in my dads DD.

How long have you been racing for? I remember talking to some people with a red fairlane I remember a 8 ball flag but really don't know who it matched up to.

And I've said it way more then once. I am pretty much done street racing. I've had fun, but I'm looking into "alternative" things at the moment, and those things require no jail time. I've been "out" since i was probably 12 years old. I know how much trouble you can get into street racing.

And since I have to go out to Pinole this afternoon to pick up the 1Rider booth & gear, I'm swinging by Redwood and Pinehurst, prolly some time between 1 and 2. Masaki said he'd be there Saturday... I'm interested to see if he shows. No h8, I'm done being angry. It would be nice if we could let go of the anger, because all that's doing is closing doors at this point.

Either way, theres cool cops and theres dick heads. I have no respect for someone who doesn't show it back. I have respect for what they're doing for there job but honestly I've dealt with a lot of nice/cool cops, and even after getting written tickets i've said "have a good day" bla bla, i was nice because i knew i screwed up. But when cops write tickets just to write tickets, no thank you. No more Infineon for me.

There are a few different levels of conversation at this point going on here..

Amusing for some.. deadly serious for others. Many like always with a different view point.

I honestly give it up for the car involved for coming here to speak. That speaks something to the mans ethic.. as he could have easily just faded from our minds.

Kurt is my friend and I know very much the feeling of 4 on my side. It is some puckering moments and that has a huge impact on us as motorcyclist even if we escape from harm as the Hun's skills and choices help shape the end result.

The end result is someone from all this.. walking away a little wiser and more cautious..Bicycle.. motorcycle .. dear.. jogger.. U Turn tourist..other touger dude or whatever.

Fun can be had between the DY and a safe margin for the above and certainly blind assumption is a f*&$ fest for all if your going to ride or drive out of your site lined.

At that point you really are putting others at risk besides yourself.. and wisdom says..
