Not exactly on topic but there's a hole in the wall sushi place near my house. Been going there for years. Love them. Love the food. Gave me some sake jelly drink once and now I'm on the hunt for that shit all the time. . Turns out they're one of the best sushi places in the greater Sac area. Who knew. I just have always loved them.

Dinner for 2 including sake and apps (sashimi and chirachi usually) runs about $80 with tip.

What's it called? I need Sac sushi recommendations

Dude here is a place in San Leandro I've been to, that gets good reviews. Of the ~50 items on the sushi bar, only 5 of them are over $9.

Yui Marlu in Fair Oaks and I hate even telling anyone about it because it's small, it's good and while I want them to thrive ... I want my table/place at the bar when I get there dammit.

I still need to try Mikuni sushi in Sac. I hear a lot about it. TJ Dillashaw and Chad Mendes swear by it too. Maybe for dinner tonight.
