Fuck, fuck, fuckity fuck.
So, I had a family shoot planned this morning. Thankfully (?) the weather didn't cooperate, because my favorite location (Bramall Park, Willow Road, SJ) is being dug up! Fuckers!
It was perfect - a small valley, with a bowl shape, mown and watered grass, redwoods all the way around. You could get great pictures without any telegraph poles/houses/any of that shite - just nice, green grass and some trees.
So, my question - where in the South Bay that won't take me ages to get to (from Willow Glen), can I use that will offer a similar backdrop? Seems like every other park is flat as a pancake, ergo you can't escape urbanity. I don't mind getting rid of the odd telegraph pole etc. - but trying to remove houses, baseball diamonds and fences is a bit beyond my Photoshop abilities (plus it's hours of work).
Hoping to shoot next week. Vasona is my stop-gap, but I don't know if the staff are friendly to someone lugging strobes etc. around, plus it's a bit far for iffy weather (which is forecast, again).
Grr. Can't believe they dug up my fave and only decent photo location for miles around. WHY?????
