Do you wear a watch?

That's the beauty of watches tho, most people don't realize what people have on their wrist (as long as it's not a Rolex).

Yo nuts do you get any fp journe by chance?

I wouldn't say Rolex is the entry level.

Not an entry level watch, but I agree with entry level LUXURY watch. Maybe Omega is a little more entry level to luxury watch brands.

TJ brah I'm sure pimpin ain't easy, but still, you're line of work is the best. Seriously. Like running a fucking candy store.

And for those of you who are new to this watch thing, Rolex is an ENTRY LEVEL luxury brand.

:laughing I appreciate the sentiment! And you're right, it's not easy. I work hard. New laws were passed this year by the DOJ regulating my industry very heavily. Similar to what I just read about DHS and hotels in another thread. :thumbdown

Depends on what level :party

Beau is right about Rolex being entry to some degree. That AP Royal Oak originally sold for ~$85,000 + Tax! :twofinger

I don't know how much a FP Journe is, but I know they are a unicorn watch. Rare and expensive and exclusive.

Watches like that are for a certain type of man (or woman, which was the previous owner of the AP:p). That man has everything already: the career, the house, the family, the car, etc. And spending $80k on a watch is just like us spending $800. I don't hang around with guys like that, I hang around BARFers :teeth

The engineering and craft that goes into these watches is insane. However, I maintain the opinion that a couple of motorcycles and a fast car are far more pleasing to own than one of these fancy watches.

And my honest opinion is that Omega's are built better than Rolex's. Holeshot was the one who convinced me of that about ten years ago :cool

Wow, my dream watch for the past couple years has been a Speedmaster Professional.

Glad to know I'm aiming high in life. :laughing

Dude that Deepsea is a tank. Try one on some time, wearing it is like doing dumbbell curls. Even the Seadweller 4000 is significantly heavier than a regular Sub.

Now the GMT on a Sub band... that's near perfect.

:laughing I wear a Deepsea as a daily :laughing

It's not so bad, but does not fit under some of my shirts...

I bougth mine as a daily / sports watch. Besides being as big as a tank it is fairly tough and I'm hard-ish on daily watches.

Entry level? I think that is a matter of perspective. The Ferrari 488GTB is about $240K. That is the high end of sports cars if your stretch budget is a 2016 Mustang GT. But that 488GTB is a track-ho you dont mind bumping if your stretch budget is a Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse at $2.2M

Like I said; just depends on your perspctive...

My dad told me that 30 years ago. He's worn a Constellation every day since the '60s.
My mom got him a moon watch for their anniversary, but he doesn't wear it much.

Dammit guys, I bought it:

Excuse me while I enjoy my poverty watch while you guys discuss how Rolex is an entry level brand. :twofinger

Crazy. That's like identical to the Citizen I was looking at.

They copied Hamilton lol

That's a beautiful tank man, and if it stokes you that's all that matters. In fact, in this world where all of us carry phones that have an accurate clock, stoke is the only reason to wear a watch.

I bought the SARX017, should be here in a week or so :). The mrs likes the Cocktail Time, but she says it's very dressy and would not look right for my everyday work clothes of a t-shirt and jeans. The SAXR017 is better suited for that it seems.,,,.

Love this one! Great picture.
I think this same watch comes in with a metal strap, too.. and I've been eyeing that one for some time, maybe someday I will buy it ! (especially if my Swiss Doxa just lost by fam the other day doesn't pop up!)

Ate a whole slice of Hula Pie with double fudge tonight for dinner and twenty minutes later in a sugar coma bought this:
