Do you wear a watch?

I've always wondered how people lose the box and papers for their watches...

I here ya man but then I thought about it. For some folks dropping 2-4k on a "want" item is no big deal. It would be like me spending 2-4 hundred dollars. Would I save the box for something that cost me 400$? Probably not. Maybe they wouldn't either.

This thread is too classy so I need to de-class it a bit with my big plastic watch:

Hate to break it to you brah, but that's kind of the Rolex of the digital world...

So it's a budget luxury digital watch? :laughing

Nah..

Isn't that Suunto like $200? My G-Shocks were that much. That Garmin is ~$500, and G-Shock Frogmans start at that much and go up to $1k+ easily.

G-Shocks are stupid expensive when you get to the limited edition ones...

Yeah, I think that Suunto looks amazing and has great functionality for $299 though. I think you can find it for $200.

I look forward to seeing that not sure if I would have used the current color you have on there.
Love to watch though

Yeah it's too strong of a color, I got a distressed beige which should match the rose gold dial markings better.

I'm in love with this watch and there is nothing wrong with it (imo). I hope to wear it as my daily for the future decades.

Do you have any watches Adam?

Sold most of them.

I've got a nice Orient star

And very simple Christopher Ward for dress occasions.

If I make a boatload of cash ill reward myself with an IWC

Those are some nice watches.

You don't exactly need a boot load for an iwc. The new ones are about 3-5k retail so if you're patient you could probably pick one up from a 3rd party site for about 40% off. Only issue will be the warranty but I believe it's a regular Swiss movement so I wouldn't stress out.

I like it. How do you like the leather NATO straps? I've only ever had the nylon ones.

This strap is from my steinhart and it's pretty soft. The main issue I have is its not as tight as a nylon. I personally prefer the leather now because it's like business casual lol.

The new Portuguese are all in house movements i think.

still can't justify it without the boatload.
