Ford Ranger 4x4 vs Honda Ridgeline 4x4

The crew cab trend on every truck of any size is annoying. How many truck owners have to carry a crew around with them?

Just make it a bench seat up front for 3, and maybe 2 jumpseats in an extra cab format. Leave the rest for the bed!

Every single crew cab truck I've seen by contractors on my jobs have nothing but shit in the back. You couldn't fit an extra dude back there if you tried. :laughing

No Costco runs but everything else, yep

We primarily drive my truck on ALL vacations. Just more room to put shit.

They are called "Dad Cabs" for a reason. Acceptable male ego version of a minivan. :laughing

When I don't have to cart kids around I will have a single cab bench seat pickup with an 8 foot bed.

The back seat of my crew cab stays clean and empty unless I've got passengers or want to keep something locked up. Of course I do that even less now ever since I got the shell and BedRug. Too easy to just lock it up in the bed.

I have a toddler and 1 on the way

My back seat is diapers, wipes, potties, and car seats.

But it’s covered in wet okole so butts all over is :thumbup

Smokin' deal...

How is that even remotely a fair comparison? They're not even the same class of trucks. Now if you posed that Super Duty next to an equivalent truck from the same era as that Toyota, that'd be fair. Even then, they should both be of a stock setup, which the Super Duty is not.

To make it fair, here's a more appropriate comparison. But it's still obvious that everything is growing in size.

Except the Truck Bed, which is the part that matters.
