Indian Scout FTR1200

looking at pics of XR750s I see both
I just checked with Google Images and most with right side exhausts are other models like an XG750 or a replica. Most true XR750s seem to have exhausts on the left side.

And in my opinion, not liking the FTR1200 because the exhaust is on the right is kind of dumb. :x

I’ll keep everyone updated. There is an Indian dealership by my house which I’m so happy about.

They didn’t have any info on when it will come in.

Update

I put 1k down for the S model with the red frame and it will arrive in spring of 2019. Around 18k OTD.

I’m number 16 on the list and should be the first group in the Bay Area to get one! That’s if I choose to buy it.

Good for you, I decided to wait until I read some reviews and set on one. Sure looks like a bike that will put a smile on your face. :teeth

Those S&S pipes look fantastic.

Arlen Ness Motorcycles in Dublin will be having demo rides for the 2019 motorcycles which includes the FTR1200! Friday November 9th and Saturday November 10th @Arlen Ness Motorcycles Dublin Blvd in Dublin. From 9 to 4 I believe. If I'm not too busy I'll be there on Friday, otherwise I'll be there Saturday. I'm really looking forward to riding the FTR!

Oh, sorry for the false alarm. The FTR1200 will be there to check out but no demo rides.:( Sorry my bad.

hey, the facts don't matter [for the past 22 months, anyways.....]
I just wanna see a FTR1200; hearing it would be a HUGE bonus

the FTR1200 really looks [to me] to be a XR1200, done right

18k OTD is unfortunate. I'd not throw down that much for a brand totally unproven in anything street-sporty.

Looking forward to hearing more ride reviews and real world owner feedback to see if it's worth the hype. Hope it is, because the bike looks bitchin' and, MURICA!

$18k - thats serious. Put yo money down! Get in line! I hope it lives up to the hype.

Akros clean up the look a bit....

3.4g tank? Come on man, that could kill it for me.

Yep, you'll be going to the gas station about every 120 miles or so. My Honda NC700X has the gas tank below the seat and it's about 3.5 gallons. Having the gas tank below the seat really keeps the weight low and really less noticeable only my Honda gets about 60 mpg so I fill up after 150 miles or so.

Surely not a lot of range but not completely unworkable. About 40 miles more than than the stock tank on my DRZ. For anyone who watched the AFT Minnesota Mile, you can argue Indian is staying true to the race bike. :laughing

33" seat height, wtf. Do you see the people with their feet in the air sitting on the bike? It is supposed to be a flat track replica, not an off-road racer.
