Innovv C3 motorcycle dashcam group buy

What all do I need in order to install it? I'd put it on a switched power source (taillight etc). Do I need an adapter from 12v to USB that drops the voltage down to 5v? Are these set up so that, once wired in, I don't need to pay attention for it to work?

The review from Techmoan for your reference, :):):)

One thing that I didn't mention during the review was how this could be considered to be the first Motorcycle 'Dash' Camera. Over the years I've reviewed plenty of Car DVR Dashcams, but whenever people asked me if something similar was available for motorcycles I've always drawn a blank....until now. The C3 has all the necesssary features to make a great bike DVR . It has the ability to loop over the oldest video on the memory card, the water resistant camera can be lashed to the frame or hidden away in a fairing and the control unit can be stowed seperately in a dry area of the bike - perhaps under the seat, powered from a switched 5V USB.

Junkie

The power cable I listed in previous post does just that. Just tap into a switched circuit on you bike and you are done. Every time you turn the bike on the camera turn on, When you turn the bike off the camera turns off. And in loop mode you are always recording, Very convenient.....

Rock, any chance you can make this available on your website?

Before put it on website, We need to be sure the quality is reliable. :):):)

I learned from your posts, the information you supplied is very useful,
http://www.canyonchasers.net/shop/generic/relay.php

I am thinking is there anything else need to upload to website for the easy installation? for example, the lens clip?:rolleyes:rolleyes:rolleyes

The installation poto

From rider, the lens is installed under head light. :):):)

The New FM and GUI released on 2015 03 03

Click below link and move to the bottom of the page, find the downloadable files source,
http://www.innovv.com/#!the-c3/ckmf

Click the file, C3 FW &GUI _20150303 to download.

The last updated the FW and GUI included.

Updating process,
Unzip the file, you can see two files,
1. FWC3.bin
2. C3-GUI Configuration Utility

If you do not need change anything, connect the camera to computer and put FWC3.bin to the root of SD card, and power on camera, the red LED blink till off.

If you want to have custom settings, like your logo on video, the video length or others,
a) connect the camera to computer and put FWC3.bin to the root of SD card, and
b) open C3-GUI Configuration Utility and make setting per your preference, and save it to camera.

Power on camera, you can see first Red LED blink, then Green LED blink till LED off, both FW and GUI updating finished.

Please be sure, the lens should plug into recording unit.
If lens installed on bike, you can take the SD card from recording unit and insert it to computer, save the FW and GUI files to the root of SD card, insert the SD card into camera again, power it on, it will update accordingly till LED off.

The process is simple and easy. :cool:cool:cool

Checking the GUI and firmware upgraded on C3

For easy operation, the GUI file and Firmware file both auto-deleted after successful upgraded, that create a problem, that people could not find what the last setting on camera and which version of FW installed. :p

Thanks for Bob, he designed the GUI tool to sort the above issue.
Click below link to download it.

You can get it from Guzzi510, it would be faster.

He is very experienced and skilled in the C3, working on C3 since the development, testing and did great support to riders who say he is "DA MAN"!:cool:cool:cool

Is there going to be another group buy anytime soon?

Is there going to be another group buy anytime soon?

Working on a new group buy that would be a plug and play setup for wiring it up to your bike. Will probably include a 12v to 5v transformer with Posi connectors and a OTG cable for viewing on the go.
Pricing and more details are being worked on right now.
More info soon:thumbup
