An "iDucatiPod"?

Bigger than that! Hi Eric!!

It has been a great week back here in BCN. I got some cool little treats last week in Misano, and I will post some photos within a little bit :) I'm leaving in a couple hours to Lisboa - and then it's Estoril time!! Will travel directly to Japan on Monday morning after the Portugal GP, via Frankfurt (why am I always going through Frankfurt!?!? Still, it beats the heck out of Heathrow!).

Hey Brad, the link's not working for me. But alright - you got me! This was a gift from Loris a little while back, and I was very impressed with the packaging (the real reason I love Apple products - that packaging!).

I know, I know, this is actually my second pair :laughing But you know how I love to have a contingency plan, and I've got back-ups and doubles of everything. Sometimes more than just two, haha. I have always hated having just one of something, and at one point in college I had five or six pairs of the exact same pair of jeans.

So lets see the glasses already!!!

Hey Lonny! It came with a cool CD filled with Ducati and Oakley related press stuff, photos, and the contact info for all the marketing types who put these collaborations together. Nice little Ducati branded glasses baggy :)

Here's the press photo of the Capirex Oil Drum, but the production models have his logo and race number in red on the inside eye pieces. I am working on trying to get all the GP related Oakley special editions (like the Rizla Suzuki Twitches, the green "O" Kawi model) and thanks to my buddy at Red Bull, I nabbed a set of the Hayden Eyepatch's. Then I can have a shootout! All that would be missing is maybe some funky Imatra's to represent Vale and the Yamahas, haha.

As the guy that bought your Gatorz, and has been funding your party since day one ( :laughing ), I want first dibs on any moto-related O's!!!

Shoots, I forgot to give credit where credit is due. That real life shot is by all-round good guy, Barfer, Ro2 guy, and photobug, Popmonkey. He's responsible for cool shots like this :) Thanks Pop! (BTW, I need a watermark of yours for future use).

In other super-duper cool news, I'm trying out the third iteration of the Axio Mini hardpack. This one's got more upgrades and internal enhancements than my previous two, and once again, remains my favorite model by them (it fits my Macbook perfectly). This one's pearl white, and also has a 3M reflective MotoLiam decal on it. Safety First! :laughing

The Axio's have the same mesh-stuff that my A*s have - but be careful. Some factory rider spilt beer on my feet in Italy at a big blowout party after the race and it went straight to my socks. Immediately. Can't remember perfectly, but I believe he went to jail later that night. . .

And waitamminit - I think I DID take that particular shot, albeit with Popmonkey's camera!

So Liam, what's the inside scoop on that Kawasaki box being loaded into the Rizla trailer?

The inside scoop is that we all kind of look out for one another (at least us cool types do). Suzuki had some big pieces they needed to transport from Brno to Misano, and they were able to use some Kawasaki boxes that otherwise would have gone to the trash. That photo is when Suzuki was unloading before the race, and I think they had two boxes, each filled with a chassis/engine combination with front end stuff, you get the picture. Because Kawasaki is really bringing out a lot of parts from Japan this season (Thanks Randy!!), they usually have a couple boxes left over after each event - and all the other teams scoop them up to use, haha. I use them when I need a box to send parts back to Madrid to be repaired, and it's just something cool.
