McRib

Yeah mine had less sauce this time, but I requested extra pickles and they complied. Usually, they put like two more on and I end up having to put more on at home.

You know with this thread going as long as it has it almost makes me want to go and try one locally. Got some food at MickeyDs the other day and saw the advert on the menu board that the McRib was back.

CNBC article from today says McDonald’s plans to open an additional 9000 stores by 2027, most in China but 900 in the US. I figured they were already saturated in the US market.
Might be worth considering parking a few bucks in MCD. Better return than 0.001% in a savings account.

China should get the McRib doused in szechuan sauce instead of BBQ sauce. I'd actually try that one.

Recently, and I can't recall where, I actually saw a closed and empty McDonalds. I can't say I've ever seen a McDs close.

Not every location is a hit and sometimes the real estate might be worth more for other purposes.

The Mick D in downtown Walnut Creek was put out of its misery a few years ago.

I ate at that McDonald's many, many times as a kid. I don't like the food anymore, with a couple exceptions, but it was weird to see that landmark disappear.

What's Rob up to now? 50? :laughing

Stopped at 18. That damn mystery meat sammich breezed in and out of town faster than a sailor on shore leave.

I hear it’s still available down in SoCal, but it appears to be all done around here.

If I make it back to MickeyD's before they are gone here I will eat one in your memory Rob. And then curse you when it gives me the inevitable coronary.

A long time (since as least 1982 as far back as i can remember) McD's on Cottle/Santa Teresa closed down recently. Surprised it lasted as long, since it did not have a drive thru.

TBH, this thread is like me wandering around on an alien planet and being afraid to take my space suit off.

How do the natives derive nutrition from their diet?
