McRib

We had a chili cook-off at work the other day and some of the guys were swapping stories about how some years ago, an employee brought in a crock pot full of Wendy's chili and handily won the competition. Who knows if that's true but it was still funny.

I wouldn’t doubt it. Their chili is good! Next time I’ll bring some Andouille and hack it. And maybe corn bread from KFC.

In Dublin, there’s a Wendy’s next to a KFC. Made in heaven

Back when I was a bit less concerned about eating garbage Wendy’s would often be a goto for lunch. My usual was two baked potatoes and large chilli which I would pour over the potatoes. It was simply convenience to eat there, at no point did I consider it to be good chilli.
You folks must have had good chilli somewhere in your lives and know the difference.

Wendy’s bought Tim Hortons or viceversa but before that happened TH used to have decent chilli. However after the merger TH started serving the same shite Wendy’s serves.

Sometimes I will pair a Wendy’s burger w McFries.

Also, Wendy’s chili is actually pretty good. I’ve taken their chili to my friend’s cafe and have him hack a chili cheese omelette.

Unless they are next door to each other, that's too much work. :laughing

Dublin’s “Golden Triangle” where dreams are made. Village Pkwy/Dublin Blvd: Micky D, the Colonel and Dave’s all within spitting distance of each other.

I legit thought you were talking about Ireland in both posts and got confused. That's because I happened to be talking to an Irish friend a little earlier and I forgot there's a Dublin in the BA. :p

I was thinking, I've never been to Ireland. I don't know what versions of American fast food they have and I know a lot of BARFers are pretty well traveled. :laughing

Well I keep thinking you’re japanese lol

I’m sure their plan for making them less dry is a healthy one like soaking them longer in vegetable oil or other similar toxic shite.

One of my techs tried to get one today and the local Mickey D's was out!

Same here. I hope it’s just because there was such a run on them, they ran out of their initial supply and are waiting for the re-up.

If it’s gone already, this has got to be the shortest window it’s been back for.

No McRibs in Reno! The store I called said the delicacy wasn’t coming to Reno this year, so much for this being a gambling town. At least I had one in Blythe.
